Where is the Best Pizza in Nashville, Tennessee?
I have been here twice, the first time for a private party. We received a private room, great attention. The food was awesome. Rich but not too heavy. I had the salmon with pine nuts and pesto. I tried to copy that recipe at home right away. Pasta was a bit mushy but still good. Prices are right on the fence. Second time, server was good. Food was just as good as I remembered. One thing that confused me was the table in the kitchen. I don’t know why anyone would want to sit there. Too noisy, busy.Pros + Awesome food, private dining, the wine flowsCons – Can be expensive
don’t get me wrong, I like Mafiaoza’s, but it really isn’t because of the pizza. Tuesday two for one is pretty enticing. But it is hard to get excited about the pizza. two things that make great pizza to me are the crust and sauce. mafiaoza’s has great crust, but the sauce really lacks, the last couple of pizza’s I got barely had any at all. A friend ordered the buschetta and it came as a big loaf of bread with the tomatoes just poured over the top. Not really appetizing. For happy hour go to Mafiaoza’s, but for Pizza go to Angelos Picnic Pizza.
I have been dining at Rudinos for 2 &* a 1/2 years now. You can always count on them for their excellent food &* welcoming staff. It was the first place i’d ever been to where the managers know your name &* the food is served amazing every time. Every little bit has a taste of the toppings in it &* it deff. leaves you wanting to come back for me. It’s holds a great family atmosphere and even a patio area to enjoy the summer days. I highly recommend their Rudino’s Royale pizza &* their Calzones. They have a wide variety of foods : Salads, Calzones, Speghetti, Lasagna, Cheese Sticks, Garlic Bread, A selection of Grinders &* Pizza, Hot Wings, Cinna-Yum Sticks, &* i cant forget their amazing cookies : ] This is deff. a restaurant you need to check out : ]– Candice Pros + Friendly Staff, Great Enviroment, AMAZING Food : ] Cons – NOTHING, ITS AMAZING !!!!!
The pizza is pretty good. It has a good crust texture, and the sauce has a ton of flavor. There is a wide variety of pizza toppings, although it should be larger considering that there is not much else on the menu other than pizza. If you’re not going to offer more than 2 pasta dishes and some boring salads, you should have some more gourmet toppings. There are only a few appetizers to choose form as well, which does not make you want to eat a full meal there…maybe just order food to go. There was not music playing when we ate there, so the dining room was dead silent. I found this troubling since you could hear every work of your neighbors’ conversations. There was only 1 waitress, and she was visibly overwhelmed. Also, it took a while to get the food. The pizzas are baked fresh, which is a great aspect of the place. However, one would think that throughtout the day, they would be at least baking crusts at 30-minute intervals or something. We waited 25 minutes for a pizza, which is
