Where is the Best Pizza in Memphis, Tennessee?
For a family or just friends hanging out, this is a great casual place. Not too small and not huge. Food is prepared fresh almost in front of you and the servers all have a great attitude. It is under new ownership and it seems to be headed in the right direction now..Love the stromboli’s…Pros + happy hour, appetizers, pizzaCons – patio is kind of small
Newby’s is the classic bar. Old brick, red vinal booths, moosehead, 4 pool tables, huge patio, strong ass drinks, classic arcade games, 14 TVs, and killer music. It’s the bar that has been ever changing since the 70’s, yet really has never changed. Sure there’s always a new young crowd every year, but you’ll still run into the same regulars that have been coming for the past 15 years. The bartenders know everyones names and some have been there for 15 years…and of course we can’t talk about Newby’s without mentioning Chef Willie. Everybody knows him and he knows the clientel better than anyone. This place is a classic!Pros + Best Staff, strong drinks,, best musicCons – a bit smokey, roof leaks
There are nights when Domino’s tells me it will take about 2 hours to deliver. I’ve never had that problem with Camy’s. They are often earlier then the time they give me. The pizza is always great and the topping selection is exceptional! Now the only complaint I have is that the pizza has no lasting power. Don’t order more then you can eat because it does not reheat well…and as far as cold pizza goes, I don’t know what it is…but Camy’s pizza is not good cold. However, that is a minor complaint…just make sure you eat it before it gets cold!Pros + Great selection, Open very late, Fast delivery
