Where is the Best Pizza in Indianapolis, Indiana?
I have been eating Maria’s Pizza since I was a little kid and it is without a doubt the BEST pizza I have ever had! I have lived in Chicago and they have GREAT pizza…and I have had those huge slices of New York pizza that are awsome…but to this day NOTHING can come close to Maria’s…OK so its a little small…….but thats part of its charm…….My grandpa use to say if he dropped a Maria’s pizza upsidown in the parking lot he would pick it up clean it off and eat it……its that good!
I’ve only been to the downtown location based on some recommendations by friends. The food was just ok, not great. I ordered whole wheat pasta in place of regular, which is usually quite good at other restaurants I go to, but this wheat pasta was like cardboard. I would stick with the regular next time, as my friend’s dish was much better. I’d like to go back for dessert, the chocolate cake looked delicious. Marley at 04:07 PM on 04/09/08
