Where is the Best Pizza in Indianapolis, Indiana?

I had dinner the other night at Union Jack Pub. I took my mother for her birthday. The place hasn’t changed much in the past decade, and I hoped for a good experience. I ordered a 10″ Four Seasons pizza and my mom got the breaded tenderloin. Her tenderloin was very overcooked and tough, and her fries were soggy and over seasoned. My pizza on the other hand was very good, and we both ended up eating it instead of mom eating her tenderloin. They had a very nice selection of beers, and not just the usual 5 or 6 that most bars have. My pizza had a sweet chunky sauce and plenty of toppings and was topped with fresh basil. Even with both of us eating on it I still took home a few slices for the next day. Definitely the best pizza I have had in a long time. It took a while for our order but the server told us that it would be about 40 minutes on the pizza, so at least we had a heads up. And the red head bartender was funny and hot!Pros + Pizza, beer selection, service, smoking s

I went to Puccini’s in 2008 with a friend of mine, not knowing what to expect. I thought the overall setup of the restaurant was very nice, especially the red/white tablecloth. Unfortunately, they were made of plastic, and I think investing in real cloth tablecloths might do a lot of good – but that’s understandable.I only tried the pizza, while my friend had something else I just can’t remember. I recall the crust was crisp and had a healthy snap to it, it came to us hot, and the sauce and cheese made a good flavor together. Sometimes a pizzeria will do one right but ruin the other one and it kills the whole pie. It tasted like good Italian, as far as I was concerned. I wish they would just open up near central/south Indianapolis. Pros + Quality crust, amazing sauce and cheeseCons – Only on the North side of town

This is a great place to eat ! The homemade pizza is thin, crispy and features ground pepperoni that parties in you mouth. Order a junior salad and you have a great meal. I wish there were one closer to downtown! ElBiffster at 08:47 AM on 01/30/08

No doubt about it, if you want the BEST pizza in Indianapolis, this is the ONLY place to go. Nothing else in town even comes close. The rest of the menu is also OUTSTANDING. Eggplant parmiagiana, meatballs, sausage rolls, everything is fresh, tasty, and cooked the way Italian food should be cooked. BRAVO Cio’s!Pros + Great food, Friendly staff, Easy parking
