Where is the Best Pizza in Denver, Colorado?

I remember back in 2001 when there was a new shopping center that opened up in Lone Tree and saw a pizzeria opening up called Santoro’s Brick Oven Pizzeria. My wife and I were very excited that we were getting a neighborhood pizzeria. When we went in for the first time and tried the pizza we were hooked. Superb freshly made salads, the pizza was heavenly and the sandwiches brought back fond memories of our east coast vacation. Of course I tried the cheese steak for lunch at one time and thought I was in Philadelphia. Santoro’s has been a regular staple of my family get togethers and we always feel welcome with the smiles from the employees. Since 2001 we have always been there for family events, and the new expansion really has made it easier to be seated faster in this popular restaurant. Our next time out to Santoro’s will be to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. We’re really looking forward to it.Pros + Great neighborhood, personable employees

I’ve tried many, many pizza places and Big Bill’s is an INSTITUTION! We are a family from NJ and this is the closest you get to NY style in CO. Get NO OR 1 topping on your pizza!! Good NY style pizza is less about toppings, more about crust, cheese and sauce. If you get a lot of toppings, it tastes only a little better than the other Mom and Pop pizza places around town. I recommend getting meatball for your 1 topping. This place does get busy if you go during peak lunch or dinner times. If your service is slower, it’s when they are slammed, not because they are slacking.Pros + Awesome pizzaCons – Need more beer & cocktails, no delivery

All the other reviews are worthless. I have read them and they can be summarized as follows: 1) I am a retiree who does not understand the most recent generation and I am highly critical of any establishment that caters to said generation or 2) I am a gnarly dude and i was to eat some ‘za at a chill joint. Neither of the aforementioned reviews provide a clear picture of the restaurant. I will attempt to avoid generational affiliations and provide unbiased criticism. The restaurant has an excellent location right off the 16th St. Mall and nestled nicely inbetween a row of bars and other restaurants. It has an unassuming entrance and that theme carries into the dining room of the restaurant. The only real decorations are the posters on the wall that detail upcoming entertainment such as concerts, comedy acts, etc. One of the first details you notice is the heat.: there is no air conditioning. The menu selection includes pizza (by the slice or whole), calzones, and salad. The pr

Luciano’s turned out to be a rather ordinary pizza joint. The food held it’s own but nothing screamed out, “This is the best *anything* I’ve ever had!” The pizza was good, but a little bit too thick for my tastes. True NY-style lovers, I’d advise to try somewhere else. If you like a thicker, more chewy crust, then this joint might be perfect for you. Also had the hot buffalo wings. I can’t say anything bad about them. The wings had a good amount of meat on them, sauce was buffalo sauce, and bleu cheese dressing is pretty standard most anywhere in the Mile High City. They weren’t rediculously priced either so I felt like I got what I paid for and the wings would be worth eating again. The only big downsides were the wait and music selection. I went in during the middle of the week and I was one of two patrons in the restaurant. The other guy already had his food. My food took a bit longer than I was expecting to wait. Just shy of 30 mins for a pizza at a slow service time. That’s pr
