Where is the Best Pizza in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Portofino’s Authentic Italian rest. was recommended 2 my hubby & I by my sweet hair stylist. She recommended a cheesesteak & told us the cheesesteak would be AUSPICICOUS just like the one’sin philly from a famous Italian cheesesteak stand called PAT’S. She said the food is 2 DIE 4!!!!My hubby & I were beyond PLEASED! The food is INCOMPARABLE AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD!The service we received was sooooooo UPSCALE and they R UPSCALE! They really know goodfood and how 2 treat people! They have gained 2 dedicated customers! PLEASE, If ur reading thisreview & haven’t tried PORTOFINO’S please do! U won’t be unhappy at all ! It’s also a very clean & ROMANTIC atmosphere! Take ur children,celebrate birthdays here! The sky is the llimit with thesewonderful people. I went on Wed. 10/08/08 and got to see their brand new menu which is not yet posted online. Changes: 1. Veggie cheese is now Vegan Gourmet brand cheese 2. Now offer whole wheat pizza crust 3. No longer carry broccoli so the veggie pizza is now a California veggie pizza complete with avacado and tomatoes and roasted garlic! It was very good! 4. Added a veg. pasta dish 5. Added Mediterranian salad feat. bananas(?!) We ate at the bar and the bartender was very nice and went back to look at the new cheese to tell us the brand name. We were a little nervous about trying the new pizza but it ended up being really tasty. It’s much more filling than the old one.
BEST customer service. This place is great for families!! Not to mention best price in town for an awesome ny cheese pizza!! All the food is good. They always offer a drink when you wait on a take out order. They have actually carried my pizza to the car for me when I’ve had my children w/ me and helped me get the kids in the car and load my pizza in for me! They go above and beyond.They also have a viewing stand for kids to watch pizza being made and give them their own little pizza dough to play with! Couldn’t ask for better service and value!! keep it up!!Pros + pizza-value and great customer serviceCons – parking
