Where is the Best Pizza in Buffalo, New York?
born and raised in buffalo on the west side where la novas is located , this place has become a trade mark to me and a lot of other people. the first time i had la novas i was 5 yrs old im now 30 this place has been around longer than me i think that alone says enough. The pizza what more could any one ask for. and the wings i have been away from buffalo for the past five years and i have not found any place that has even come close to the sauce. lets face it we have had some true italians in buffalo and this place was started by one of them you could stop 100 people in buffalo and not here what you herd from the buffalo bill he is probably not from buffalo and if he is he came from the suburbs… columbus,oh
I first met Hector when our sons were in the same cub scout troop. One of our fields trips was to Leonardis. Hector taught each of the boys how to make pizza. I found out then why Leonardis is soooo good. The sauce is a family secret handed down from the old country. The ingedients are all top notch and selected personally by Hector. The cheese is hand grated and the pepperoni is hand sliced. The boys really enjoyed that trip and even though it was 15 years ago I still remember how good the pizza tasted. We go back as often as we can but we sure wish there was a East Amherst location . . hint, hint. Pros + Quality and price – what else is there?Cons – Needs an East Amherst location as well
Without a doubt, this is the best pizza place in Buffalo. Anytime I come back for a visit, I always make sure to get a half-baked to take back on the plane. The guys are great about packing the pizza for travel. I can’t say enough about the taste, which is second to none. The sauce and the toppings they use are of great quality. Everywhere I go in the country, I am always searching for pizza similar to Bocce’s, and I have yet to find it. It’s funny, but I notice that some who rate Bocce’s lower seem to have an ulterior motive, such as to boast about their own pizza place. Bocce’s is # 1.Pros + Great service, great qualityCons – It’s not a sit down place, but that’s not what I’m looking for
