Where is the Best Pizza in Austin, Texas?
Have had a calzone and the Stromboli, love the dough and they are large! The only thing I have a complaint with is they need to have a “special” or something as I like onions, green peppers, pepperoni etc and there is no way I am paying extra for each ingrediant so what starts at about 7 dollars ends up about 11-12–that is too much. Can get a special at other places, where they do charge a bit more, but honestly, one is not using more ingrediants, just less of each. Other than that I would probably eat there more often.Pros + Good good crust on Calzone and StromboliCons – Over priced once you add additional items.
This is pizza with great quality toppings. Only once was I unlucky enough to visit when APG had run out of fresh beef and had to resort to bland backups from the freezer. The salads are great (would be even better with something besides iceberg lettuce) but the pizza is the star. This is NOT your pizza-chain style of pizza. This is pizza for adults who enjoy something better than cardboard with pepperoni on top. I have a hard time eating a Papa Johns, Mr Gattis, or Pizza Hut pie after visiting APG. It rocks!Pros + quality food, not crowdedCons – location, spotty service
I have traveled the World and have come to appreciate the great food it has to offer .The team at Pizzeria Corvina has created a casually elegant atmosphere with very affordable fresh Neapolitan Pizza, Gourmet appetizers, and authentic Italian fare. The Wine Bar with a hand picked all Italian wine list accentuates the level of detail to bring you a complete experience. The Owners as well as the entire staff have only one thing in mind, and that is you having a great experience. The wonderful people you will encounter at Pizzeria Corvina are both knowledgeable and passionate about everything they have to offer. I have already added this Great Pizzeria to my list of favorite places to have a great glass of wine and relax with friends. If you love the best things in life, then you must encounter Pizzeria Corvina. EXTREMELY pleased when I finally went to this restaurant. Fast, friendly service; awesome pizza and great price!Rudino’s has to be one of the best pizza place in town. I was lucky enough to go pretty early in the day so I didn’t have to worry about waiting too long. As soon as my boyfriend and I went in we grabbed a menu and started hunting for the perfect pizza. We were not serviced right away but the young lady in back was obviously doing something and told us she would be with us in a bit. By the time we were done looking; she was there and ready to take our order. We went with the Smokey Alfredo pizza and some Cheesy Fries (I had to get them someone recommended them here <,<) It was fantastic! A bit on the spicy side so would not recommend if you can hardly handle spicy; but with the new trend of chipotle on everything it was nice to have a different kind of taste to spice things up. After a projected 15 minute wait; we got or food and went. Not able to wait til we got home
