Where is the Best Pizza in Austin, Texas?
My husband and I we’re planning on ordering from Austin’s Pizza one day but who knew they close so early at 8pm? So we decided to try Lamppost and we’re glad we did. It’s so much better than Austin’s and they serve more than just pizza. They’re lot more friendly too.I like the atmosphere. It’s a perfect place for parties. We’ve been going back to Lamppost since. ^_^Pros + Good food, Nice place, Friendly
I’ve passed by this place a million times, but last night my husband and I stopped in and I LOVE THIS PLACE! We had drinks and some food and great conversation w/strangers ( who are now friends) at the bar-perfect! The cook is awesome, the grilled shrimp-fantastic, the pizza-even better!!! I have found my new neighborhood hang-out!Pros + Lots of parking, friendly staff
savage on whole wheat. don’t forget whole wheat! this is the best pizza austin has to offer. pizza… yeah the yankee that thinks the movie came first wasn’t here, or maybe even born when Conan’s opened up. Conan the barbarian was created by a Texan, a central Texan in fact, Brownwood. Conan’s Pizza is a huge awe inspiring pie!their management just doesn’t have a clue, else there would be a dozen successful restaurants in town, and more around the country.Pros + PIZZA , whole wheat crust, savageCons – atmosphere, too far for delivery, poor marketing
Rounders has great pizza and a layed back cool atmosphere, it’s an old Austin house and the dining area is the living room. The pizza crust is crisp and I like the flavor. Their salads are pretty good too. Although the pizza is good and we keep going back the service is awful. Once you get a drink forget about a refill unless it’s beer because they make more money and they wait staff is not friendly. One more thing, this is not a kid friendly place. We take our kids at least every other friday night and are usually the only people with kids. They love the table video games and arcade games but the restaurant has signs everywhere that say watch your kids and no chairs at video games. What kind of place would have games and not allow kids to play them. Come on! Either let kids play the games or get rid of them! Pros + The Pizza and atmosphereCons – Service and they don’t like kids, Obviously!
