Where is the Best Piercing in Seattle, Washington?
This place has, as mentioned before by pleased customers, impeccable sanitation measures. It is very open, bright, and organized to avoid any clutter. The staff: I’ve seen MARK for a tattoo (amazing job, awesome price) & I plan on having him do my next one. He was kind of rude at first and didn’t seem that excited about it, but after we talked for a few minutes we both relaxed and I ended up w/ a gorgeous piece of art. He made me feel very comfortable, and he didn’t mind that my boyfriend sat in on the session (a place in Wallingford said that if I had a tattoo done there, no one else could be in the room– that gave me the heebie jeebies). COLE is by far my favorite person at Deep Roots. I absolutely love the way she walks the customer through each of the steps; she is very zen about the whole process, and it really makes me feel good about having her do my piercings. After I had a piercing (done at a place in Portland), go awry she was very helpful and knew exactly what I need
So far I have been tattooed by 2 artists at the Wallingford location and pierced at the Ballard shop. I have had nothing but stellar service and always left more than happy with my tattoo/piercing results.Robert and Marc have both given me fabulous body art…. including a huge back-piece and some smaller pieces. I constantly am stopped by strangers and asked where I got the amazing ink. Thanks guys… you ROCK! I have no idea where these other reviewers with the negative attitudes are coming from, but I have always seen other clients treated in nothing but a positive, friendly manner. Deposits are mandatory at all other tattoo shops I have encountered, so this is nothing “strange” or out of the ordinary. It covers the artists’s time spent creating a piece of art for you.As for the quality of artwork and passion of the artists… well… the portfolios, awards, and clean atmosphere speaks for itself.I am looking forward to getting inked by some other artists there! I’m a retu
I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to find the right artist to create and tattoo a sleeve that would make me want to wear tank tops all year round in Seattle. Enter Joel Kennedy from Under the Needle. I told Joel I wanted something “bold, yet feminine”- and within a week he came up with the most amazing Japanese influenced drawing with wild water splashes and waves, surrounding dahlias and chrysanthemums… it is more beautiful than I imagined and definitely worth the wait. Not only is Joel masterful artist, but he has been completely professional at each visit. He starts on time and works diligently until we’ve both decided that it’s a good stopping point. I sense that after 16 years of tattooing, Joel simply loves what he does- and wants to see his clients beyond mere satisfaction when they leave the shop. Under the Needle sits at a perfectly convenient location in downtown Seattle just off Denny Way on 6th Avenue. There’s always a parking spot (metered, of course) right outs
