Where is the Best Piercing in Portland, Oregon?
Don’t get me wrong, Straight to the Point does some great work.. but they charge far too much Now, I know a good shop is expensive, I’m not the type to go for the $2 externally threaded korean jewelery or anything like that, but this place is rediculous. Very friendly staff, very comfortable environment, though the staff should be standardly trained more (I got different aftercare instructions from 3 different employees.) Now, for the price.. I got charged $10 just for a jewelry change (A service that is generally free, with purchase of jewelry) with a Kaos eyelet, that they charged $20 for! $20! Unfortunately this was the first piece I bought from them, so I didn’t know how wildly they had jacked up the price. For an example: a 0 gauge Kaos eyelet, from the website (The RETAIL price) is $6. with standard markup, that probably means that the wholesale price (The one any piercing shop will be getting) would be probably 3, maybe 4 dollars. My search for an incredible and perfect hair stylist is finally over!! Heather is absolutely the answer I have been waiting for. You guys, she is an angel sent from heaven!!!! I have been to way too many hair stylists and salons (seriously, it’s embarrassing to share all the places and people I have been to in order to find Heather) only to be disappointed. All my haircuts in the past have either been terrible, mediocre, or just something that I am not wowed by. You know those people you see walking down the street and you want to just stop and ask them where they get their hair done? Well….thanks to the lovely Heather, I am now one of those people! I have NEVER been one those people until I went to Heather! It’s not only that other people notice my fabulous hair, but I feel like a movie star now. I actually heard about Adorn first when I saw someone in the grocery store with a beautifully done hibiscus? on her shoulder. I asked her where she got her work done, and she raved about Adorn. I’ve been wanting to get some ink done for a while, and did my research and chose Adorn for my first tattoo. I went in on Tuesday afternoon, and brought my idea/drawing from my favorite children’s book with me. I talked with Justin? I think about it, and he was able to schedule me in for an appointment with Jesse on Wednesday afternoon.Jesse took my drawing and script idea and made it a bit larger than the original, but it fits perfectly in the space I wanted it to occupy on my left forearm. He put me at ease pretty much right away, and I had a very minor pain freak-out right before the needle touched my skin because this WAS my first tattoo, and I had built it up to be this awfully painful thing.
