Where is the Best Piercing in Los Angeles, California?
After years of wanting one I finally decided to get my first tattoo. I went online and did my research and after reading the reviews there was no question, this was the place for me. Now that I’ve been through the process I can tell you all the great reviews are right on the money. This place was super clean and lots of fun. I had an appointment with Slim and even though I was really nervous he made it a great experience for me. He was casual and funny and put me right at ease. He talked me through the pros and cons of my tattoo design, size, placement, etc. He didn’t mind my friend taking pictures or hovering over his shoulder to watch him work. He made me laugh and got me through the process, and best of all he did an awesome job on my tattoo. I have been to many piercing studios in the Valley (to get pierced and buy jewelry), and had always had mediocre experiences at best. So, when I knew I was ready for another piercing, I decided to do some research before choosing the location this time. All of the reviews I read about Body Electric were exceptional, so I decided to give them a try. It was all true! The minute we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Brian (the shop owner). Although I didn’t have an appointment, I was able to see James within 15 minutes, and he was everything that I had read he was! So professional, so sweet, so patient, so accomodating…I could keep going : ) I was REALLY nervous about this piercing, but James explained the entire process to me, and answered ALL of my questions before I even committed to getting it done. I just had a 5 hour piece done by Misha and it is amazing!! What i liked best about this place, aside from the friendly people and exceptional customer care and service, was the time they took to get to know you, plan, map and draw out your desired tattoo (by hand from scratch) and work with you to make sure your tattoo is absolutely perfect prior to getting it done in ink! People don’t realize that a lot of people out there are very artistic and creative with thier personally inspired tat…you don’t simiply walk into a shop and expect to get inked that day! It took me years to plan and draw out my tat exactly as i pictured it. Once i came into contact with Misha, which is THE BEST if you are looking for either japanese inspired art or animai, it took an additional 2 months to get my drawing perfect as far a the morphing, shading, 3-d, color, placement, etc. Once i sat down with Misha i knew she was the one.
