Erin has photographed three weddings for our extended family, and she is phenomenal. Her work is modern and warm ? a fresh combination I don’t see very often ? and her presence is calming and intuitive and quiet even though she is everywhere. From the meetings before the wedding (in one case she also photographed the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, which was wonderful), through the wedding and reception, and after the wedding when she presents the photographs (and the most amazing album I’ve ever seen in my life), Erin is an important piece of the magic. And the photographs are breathtaking and timeless. It sounds like we were the lucky ones to at least have gotten our proofs before Michelle went AWOL. Needless to say, we have tried every avenue to contact her, all to no avail. A handwritten letter was even returned. Her photos were alright, but our grandfather took equivalent quality photographs, so thankfully, we had something to plug into homemade albums. Michelle gave us a proof book and CD which are both copyrighted, so we can’t even print those off. Not that you would, because there is no way of contacting her, but DO NOT HIRE MICHELLE BURKE to take your pictures for any reason. She charmed us into giving her money with empty promises of a wonderful product. Michelle,If you happen to read this, I hope you realize that you have taken what is supposed to be one of the most memorable events of more than a few couples and tainted it with feelings of anger and helplessness. At the very minimum, you should contact those you have left stranded and give them non-copyrighted
Fritz has a very interesting style. He has a great gift of shooting people (photographically I mean : ) in their own beautiful skin. I mean, people don’t have to get all glamoured-up to get great shots with him. He has an awesome eye for detail, and his post production work is nothing short of exquisite. Any manipulation techniques he implores have a wonderful “raw” look to them (not over-processed or overdone).If you need a photographer that has a wonderful sense of capturing your unique style, presented in an awesome composition, look no further.
