We hired Benjamin Boyd Photography for our wedding in the summer of 2005, and were very happy with the level of professionality, communication, and attentiveness to our needs. We had a lot of specific portraits that we wanted to have done, and Ben was proactive to make sure the details of these, as well as the timeline were all worked out in advance.So when the big day came, we knew exactly what to expect, and it happened very naturally, we didn’t have to think about it too much, and he put us right at ease. As a photographer, Ben was very attentive to our needs and special requests (even the day of), and came fully prepared with excellent equipment, and top notch assistance. During the reception, he worked in the background, but always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to capture very cool moments and one-of-a-kind candid shots. My 10 year olds and I enjoyed a relaxed, playful afternoon with Kim Campbell in her new outdoor studio this summer. Kim easily engaged my reluctant kids into giggles and expressing themselves. She captures expressions and feelings in her work. She and her assistant made us all feel comfortable and enjoy our connection with each other. The photos she took are works of art that not only captured the twinkle in our eyes but also the unique connections between us. I know many people who have had wonderful experiences at this studio.
We got married last summer and had Artful Images take the photos for the wedding. They did a fabulous job! They discussed with us our ideas beforehand and gave us advice on what works and what doesn’t work for wedding photos. During the actual wedding, Michael worked tirelessly to give us great photos, running around taking photos from every angle and of every person at the wedding. The photos were creative, original, and of the highest quality. Amazingly, for all his running around, he was unobtrusive and didn’t stick out, like some photographers we’ve seen, during the ceremony. Afterwards, the prints we got back were gorgeous, with a very high quality feel and look to them. Depending on the package you pick you can get a hi-res DVD copy of all of your photos. Their packages range from just the basics for the minimalist wedding, to some pretty elegant books and prints you can hang on your wall. They make you feel beautiful. They are really into keeping everything natural. They want to photograph you, and not just create a fake image of you. I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks.
