Where is the Best Pet Grooming in Seattle, Washington?
I purchased a monthly package and have been So Happy with Metro Dog. I’ve been taking my dog twice a week and have been 100% satisfied. When I went in to buy the package – I had a coupon. However, the woman working told me there was a better one out there. We found that one, and I was told I can use my initial coupon next time. Great!Upon arriving at MD my dog is excited and ready to get in and play. When I arrive to pick her up, she is always excited to see me, however she is spent! Tired Tired Puppy. Great!Everytime we go – the employees know my dog. They greet her, make her sit before entering the play area. They even noticed when she got a new collar. If it happens to be someone I’ve never met before the person introduces himself and treats Lola like they are old friends. Great!I will say, our first time going I was apprehensive looking at the outside appearance of the building. However – the outside is Totally Deceiving! This is one of those “Dives” from the ou
Washing the dog probably isn’t high on the list of many, but it’s really rather fun and Rub-A-Dub. The staff are routinely helpful and attentive. The tubs and drying stands are easy to use and ramps lead to both, eliminating the wrestling match of getting Fido into position. One of the things I like a lot about this place, and I’ve been to a number of do-it-yourself dog washes in north Seattle, is that there is an abundance of grooming tools and supplies available: cotton and forceps (for the ears) a variety of different nail clippers, ear washes, ointments, salves and lotions, deodorants. You name it. It’s all there, just help yourself. The staff are friendly, and the general feeling of the place is fun. (If you’re new there, they’ll take a picture of you and your friend and post it on the wall. ) There is a basket of dog toys available if your pooch needs to occupy itself (you did neuter your dog, right?) while waiting for an open tub, and staff there will cut Bowser’s na
Pet Daddy does a good job. They are efficient, friendly (most of them), and the place is clean too, which – if you’ve shopped around – is difficult to find. My only problem is that it’s impossible to get an appointment last minute and you need to make reservations a week in advance! I think they are a little under staffed and should be open longer hours. Sometimes my dog comes back still pretty damp and I think it’s because they need to rush because they are so busy. Otherwise they do a great job and it’s perfect to drop your dog off after walking around Greenlake and grabbing lunch with a friend while you wait. Pros + clean, locationCons – hours (don’t open until 11), busy, hard to get an appointment
