And beyond that, there is lots of supervision during group play to insure that things stay calm and friendly. The kennels they sleep in are clean and large and have runs. My one dog has dietary issues and they are careful with food. i also do not use a flea and tick repellent so they spray them daily (if you want ) for a small charge with a natural repellent. If dogs could choose a place to stay- this would be the place. My dogs get excited on the drive there .They are happy when they get there every time. I have never had a problem when I picked them up. It is a large fenced in place with grass and trees, etc. Safe as can be. They also have a large misting area and shade if it is a hot day. I needed to find a place to leave my 6month old terrier mix Fritzi for 3 1/2 weeks, and was really upset/nervous that I had to leave her behind while I travel. We tried Wagville and are very satisfied.They have an extensive application/evaluation process which to me was the first indicator of the quality of service, they ensure that the dogs they accept are healthy, and that they have the appropriate temperment for a cage free facility. The place is clean (smells a little but I think that’s to be expected) In fact if you watch the webcam you see they are often mopping the floors, and they do a big clean-up at night. I give her card to all of my clients who are training their dogs. Food affects the way the dogs act – just like with people. Before showing up to Bone Sweet Bone I had many issues with the local groomers and doggy day care facilities. I had tookin my chihuahua Cash to other facilities in which he would leave the facilities more scroungie than when I brought him in and on top of that he would seem distressed and unhappy. I happened to need a daycare for Cash cause he’s exceptionally hyper and I dont like leavin him alone while im at work cause he tears up everything. So I had seen Bone Sweet Bone while driving down Ventura Blvd and I thought the name was catchy so I decided to stop and check it out. Upon arrival I was greeted by who happened to be the owner. He introduced himself as Santiago and although he was busy he answered all my questions and even went out of his way to give me a full tour of his facility and showed me that he keeps records of all his dogs ensuring that they are vaccinated and have the right temperment for daycare.
