Where is the Best Pet Grooming in Atlanta, Georgia?
Kirkwood Feed & Seed Pet Supply!!! Awesome!!!I have been an animal lover for years. I have been to numerous animal stores, grooming, day-cares. By far,,, I have found a home to retire to.1st,,, this store past the initial test. SMELL. Once you walk into the store,,, the only way you would know the place is a pet supply store is by looking at the product.2nd,,, the owners must care. Lets take this a little further,,, EVERYONE IN THE STORE TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY. When I walk into the store,,, I am greeted with love. They even know my name, what I product I get, the name of both my dogs,,, etc., etc., etc.3rd,,, Grooming area is clean,,, SPOTLESS4th,,, JUST GO TO THE STORE!!! I can go on and on,,, JUST GO AND BE ASTONISHED BY THE LOVE GIVEN!!!!StephenPros + Everything you need that is hard to find,,, Kirkwood has itCons – I honestly can not think of any
Playful Paws Doggie Daycare has been the best thing for me and my dog. My dog has serious energy and i leave him at daycare while i work. i pick him up and he is asleep before i get to Bells Ferry!! i highly recommend them. their employees love my dog and my dog loves them. i have to drag him out at the end of the day.Cons – none
After two years of taking my miniature schnauzer to another doggie camp, I switched to Piedmont Bark. I switched because, among many other strange clues, my dog – who NEVER does this – peed on the floor out of fear when I left him at the other place. At Piedmont Bark, his behavior changed dramatically for the better! Even though he is still anxious about being left by me, after his 6 hour trial run, when we came back for boarding he actually recognized the girl that came to take him away and jumped up on her excitedly. The staff and the entire air about the place is highly professional – which leads me to believe that as is often the case in business, that professionalism will translate into how my dog is treated when I’m not around to supervise. My dog was happy to see me after 5 days at Piedmont Bark, however, he was not the anxious, Get Me the Heck Out of Here dog that he was when I retrieved him from the old doggie camp. I am very happy with my new choice for boarding my dog
While we no longer take our “kids” to Kenya at Funnybones, it is not that we don’t want to. We took our kids to funny bones for 6 months which included an 8 week boarding situation. Everyday that we brought the kids home from “school”, they were exhausted. Our Yellow Lab would get so excited to “go to school” that once we were about a mile away, he knew where we were going and would start to cry to be let out of the car. Kenya and her staff have always been great. The reason we no longer go to Funnybones is that we moved to Las Vegas on 1/1/2006. Since we have been here, there has not been any “schools” that are good enough for our kids until recently. We found a school here that is very similiar to Funnybones which is named “Doggie District”. However, it is still not the same as Kenya and her staff. If we ever move back, we will take our kids to Funnybones even if we were to live in Marietta. It is well worth the experience for the kids and it keeps them young.
