Where is the Best Personal Trainer in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
yes, it is on the expensive side but the classes and the machines and most of the staffers are A+. the downside would be the too loud music and availability of lower impact/high energy classes and maybe something for “oldtimers” 45+. personal trainers are fabulous and knowledgeable and i’d recommend this to anyone looking for a swell place to work it out!Pros + staff, classes, personal training, machines, membersCons – loud music, often seems youth focused, closes early, on the expensive side
6 weeks ago, I donated a kidney to my husband and we’re living in the cities for his transplant follow-up care. I was cleared for workouts 4 weeks after my surgery, and found 501FIT. AWESOME! The owners/trainers are super – both with accomodating my short term request (we’ll only be here another 3 weeks) and for cautioning me during class when I might be pushing too hard considering my post-surgery startup. Their strength classes are for ANYONE — just starting out, restarting or fine-tuning. The classes are structured, challenging and well within capabilities, all at the same time. The trainers adjust the weight for each individual and keep an eye on everyone’s form. I’ve also seen boot camp and kettleball classes. Even being here only a few weeks, I’m treated w/respect and encouraged to meet my goals — makes me feel like I’m part of the family 🙂 They were also super supportive when I asked if it was OK to come in and workout on my own — no problem! Always a friendly hello
From the first consultation with Eric, it was clear that that this was a different kind of training experience and a different kind of gym than those I was familiar with. To begin with, it’s a great space — a lot of time, care, and consideration has gone into designing a gym in which you feel comfortable, safe, and motivated to train. The trainers are amazing. Their knowledge, range of experience, expertise, friendliness, and non-judgmental approach (particularly important for those of us whose experience in gyms isn’t always so positive) impressed me every time I came in. I worked mainly with Eric and Stephen, both of whom were great. I really like the experience of working with more than one trainer — they push you in different ways but the communication among all the members of the Avatar team means that they’re always aware of what you’ve been doing with the other trainer. Maybe the most impressive thing about Avatar is that everyone there is committed to helping you move forward
