My wife and I loved the recent meal we had at Japonais. It was an anniversary and the ambiance was amazing. Yes it was mucho pricey, but with the service and food I really felt we got what we paid for. would highly recommend!Pros + best asian Cons – pricey

Great Ambience; a little on the expensive side but nonetheless really good food! I have also been to the one in Miami for lunch and both were good experiences. It was definitely happening on a Friday…

I have had many a meal and many a cocktail here back in my “important downtown businessman” days. It’s a great spot for a decent filet or sirloin steak.  But now I like to belly up to the bar every once in awhile, as I did on Mother’s Day, and have a martini, and perhaps a lite bite. Where the heck else can you end up sitting next to a some steel magnate, who has two Rolls-Royce vehicles and a Bentley (the latter which he has shipped out by train when he is on the west coast,) a bartender who tells you this stuff, and who  can regale you with those long and politically incorrect jokes which go on for days before the punch line? In such a milieu, and where I know that no-one will remember me from one visit to the next, I like to pretend to talk sports-something I am totally ignorant about, but I just repeat what I hear other guys say. Such as, “boy, there were some really bad calls last night!” And the other guys just take that and run with it,. I find that most of them don’t really lis

Well this was a first for me a trendy Korean restaurant. At first I was skeptical. When you first step in the dark and modern decor makes you think you just stepped into a very cool lounge. Seeing everyone with martini glasses strengthens that thought. But after further inspection there are people eating some nice looking dishes Many asians will probably tell you that they are skeptical of asian restaurants that dont have asian patrons or staff luckily we saw a couple of each it took us a few minutes to spot though. The selection and prices on the menu are actually quite good for this level of trendiness. To my surprise the dishes were good sizes and tasted good too. The service was also very good and friendly. It really books up so call ahead and try to make a reservation if you can. Definitely check this place out if you need a datespot for very presentable Korean food or if you want to ease someone into Korean food.
