Where is the Best Over-30s Singles Scene in San Francisco, California?
The Clift is a great hotel is you are looking for a boutique, non-traditional, luxury hotel in San Francisco. Its located a block away from Union Square & within walking distance from many restaurants. The place has an overall chic modern vibe to it which hits you the minute you step into the lobby – a cool/hip bar, promising restaurant…
Just came home from Le Colonia – WE LOVED IT! Service was fantastic (ask for Daniel’s table). It was mother-in-laws 79th birthday. They brought out a dessert plate with Happy Birthday in chocolate – tall thin candle – was great. We took two kids (9 & 12) and two adults and one senior. No problem with older kids – they made extra effort for them. Great place for out of town guests. Decore nothing like you have seen before. Great lighting – everyone looks fantastic. Get the beef salad – could have eaten two. Not great for younger children (a older couple would not sit next to us – their loss). Was nervous about after reading very old reviews – they were all wrong. I will go back soon.Pros + great lighting, good food, easy parkingCons – hard to find, adults recommended
So I just went to this place last night, and I have to say…for the price, for the “exclusivity”…they need to invest in some AC! It was 92 degrees in there! If I wanted to do Bikram yoga…there’s a place close by that does’t charge a cover. Also, there were about 900 single women in that club and about 20 single men. Good for the guys, terrible for the ladies. Incredibly sweet bartenders, however, and the club itself is beautiful. Also, I don’t agree with the folks in the other reviews about the doormen…they were fantastic and very helpful. In fact, I only had a problem with one musclehead inside and he was just trying to keep people moving out of the walkways. I heard this place was hard to get into, but there was some serious riff raff…grubby jeans and tee shirts, along with some college guys in polos and jeans who looked like they rolled in there by mistake. On second thought…maybe the doormen were too nice. Pros + beautiful interiorCons – temperature
I have been going to this bar for a few years after work with my co-workers.Only at Happy Hours 4-7 is this bar cool.Victoria runs the bar like it’s her own place. Food, snacks, killer drinks, and she makes people smile. Her music selection is hot, and her spirit bright. Thanks Victoria for your years of fun.Our office is moving and we are going to miss you !Our recommendation to anyone who want go to this bar is A + !Don’t stay after 7 however, you will not get the same service.BTW…the reason why this bars rates 9.3 is because we voted for you Victoria !!
