Where is the Best Over-30s Singles Scene in Orlando, Florida?
This place used to be a jewelry store. We used to live down the block in 2001-2003 and every time we’d walk the dog around the corner, Jennifer would run out with what we liked to drink and say, “Come on, have a glass of wine!” So we’d stop and have a great time. (Made dog-walking a bit expensive tho). Still go there from time to time and it’s still nice…especially sitting in the couch pit indoors or anywhere outside in nice weather. Very relaxing, upscale date spot. Fun to try and guess which couples got together thru online dating.Pros + Nice atmosphere, nice wineCons – A bit pricey
I was really hesitant at first about going to see the Nonpoint show at Firestone. After reading some of the reviews it mad e me nervous about my possible enjoyment there, but I had a good time. You have to know what you are getting into. First off, tickets were $14, so right there you can’t expect a lavish venue and first rate amenities. But it was actually pretty nice. Doors were to open at 8pm so we arrived at 7:15pm. As we stood in line outside the venue, what looked to be a Bouncer or Promoter was checking ID’s giving out wrist bands for those of us drinking. Which I thought was a brilliant idea, so I didn’t have to keep taking my ID out. As we were entering Firestone, I had my purse checked and My Boyfriend was “Frisked,” wh
One of the best bars I have been too. Upscale bar with great service and awesome atmosphere. You feel like your VIP once you step on the red carpet. I go downtown at least once a week and Dragon Room is the first place I go too and the last place I end up. These guys definately know how to treat there guest. If you haven’t been, go! I promise you won’t want to leave…
No other places like this one in Orlando….it is definitely an original. This is a great place to hang out with a small group of friends and to me brings a home town atmosphere. The live venue features a variety of great local music. The bartenders serve up some great drinks and the food is awesome!
