Where is the Best Over-30s Singles Scene in Houston, Texas?
I went to a wedding reception at Slainte’s several months back & had a great time. Was very surprised to read so many reviews about them having such terribly rude staff. My experience there was nothing the like. Food was good. Music was outstanding. The outside balcony upstairs has an absolutely fantastic view. The decorum was clean & authentic. Nice art work. Close parking was available. Enjoyed it very much.

I was really looking forward to my first dining experience at Reef. I’ve heard all the hype and read all of the glowing reviews. It wasn’t a terrible experience by any means, but everything about the food, service, and the dining room left me wondering…how could anyone consider this the best restaurant in Houston? We had a 7:15 reservation, and despite being 10 minutes early, our table was ready. There were two hostesses working. Both were dressed completely inappropriately (far too casual, and on the brink exposing themselves) and neither one of them was friendly (not even a smile). So we sit. The dining room is overcrowded with tables, and the noise level approaching that of a trendy club. We ordered drinks, the waitier brought them out to the wrong people, and the $10 Mojito was mediocre at best. Appetizers. We ordered the Ceviche and Jumbo Lump Lollipop Cocktail, and again, they were brought out to the wrong people. I was surprised by the small portion of the Ceviche,
