Where is the Best Over-30s Singles Scene in Atlanta, Georgia?
This was a pretty fun place. Me and my guy friends went on a friday night. Had guestlist so we didnt have to pay to get in. Its underground and kind of has the look of a brick loft. Drinks are kinda pricey but if you’re a lady then that usually is not an issue. The music was pretty fun like a mix on an ipod…but i mean it in a good way. I met a couple people there that are good friends now so yes it is a good place to meet and mingle. Ummm…the vip room was pretty neat. Kinda like a “be seen” area. It was enclosed in a clear glass area so it was like being in a fishbowl. Pretty neat. All in all it was a pretty cool place and I would go there again. So if you’re sitting at home with a couple friends and have a hankering to go out then check this place out.Pros + atmosphere, music
We ate here in September with the intentions of doing the $10 all you can eat tapas they advertise on the website. We got there a few minutes before 9:00 and were told that the special ends at 9:00 but we could get it if we order quickly. So we started looking over the tapas menu to make our decision. We were all set to order a bunch of food, when our server informed us that the special is for a set menu. OK…… Let’s look at the set menu then. Well, the “tapas” special consisted of soup, salad, sushi, a slice of cheese pizza, and something else I don’t remember. None of this is tapas… Very misleading. Since we were already there and seated, we decided to order off the menu. My boyfriend ordered the short ribs with spinach and polenta. I ordered a wedge salad, beef satay, and shrimp potstickers. We also ordered a bottle of the house malbec.The wine came out fast and it was decent. The salad came out quickly. It was smaller than I was expecting, but it was good. Then we waited for
We’ve been here before, and didn’t really care for a bunch of appetizers we’d ordered the first time (risotto baIIs is the only one I can remember). The burger was good I think though.Last weekend, our second trip, we ordered mussels as an app, and they were delicious. How can little succulent morsels of seafood floating in a garlic cream sauce with buttery garlic bread to sop it all up not be good? I’m sure it’s possible, but not here.Next we had a steak salad and the prime rib (queen cut). I was expecting a little tiny cut, but this thing was huge. And awesome. And it was the perfect done-ness (med rare). The salad wasn’t anything special, but wasn’t bad either. The steak on it was a little tough, but cooked perfectly. I ordered a cosmo, which was $12. They bring it out in two parts: the martini glass filled with cosmoliciousness, and a brandy sniffer type glass filled with ice and another small bottle filled with more martini (so you can refill later). Had dinner at Vinocity last week and tried a couple of new items on their menu that I thought were outstanding. The sliders were yummy, as were the mussels and a fried ap served in a cone type vessel…this was my favorite. I dont remember the name but it had all types of fried seafood, limes, mushrooms, anchovies etc. This really was good and I will most surely have again. Tried a new wine called Ouixote…OUTSTANDING! I love Vinocity.Pros + great for famlies, couples, young and old!Cons – Don’t know of any.
