Where is the Best Outdoor Dining in Portland, Oregon?
Don’t let the name mislead you. It may sound like a Denny’s, but it’s nothing even close. The service has to be mentioned here — absolutely flawless. Each and ever time I’ve been here I have not been disappointed. The entrees are fantastic, desserts decadent and delicious, and great views on to the golf course. The furnishings are a bit dated — feeling like a late 70s lounge, but it’s comfortable and warm. The menu is a variation on traditional comfort foods (thus in some ways matching the feel of the decor). But these variations make the ordinary extraordinarily good. For the quality, the prices are not unreasonable. Great place for a date or a quality meal to be had with close friends.
I eat Pho at least 3 times a week. Frequenting the major Pho houses in P-town for just under a decade now, I can say I appreciate much of what I find in our great cities’ many Pho options. Got Pho stands out from the crowd in a couple of major ways and i’ll tell you why…. 1. Goi Cuon Thit Nuong (in fact anything containing the House Special Chargrilled Pork)This flavor cannot be had anywhere else. Marinated and seasoned to perfection with peppers, sweet dried onion, lime and cilantro and probably a ton of cool stuff i’ve never heard of. This pork has changed my life. I’ve turned at least 50 people onto this one meat and I would hazard to say this may be the single most amazing thing to happen to the most perfect of all proteins… ever…EVER!2.
