Where is the Best Outdoor Dining in Buffalo, New York?
I finally figured out after many visits to Harry’s; the contrasts. Although pricy, the food, atmosphere and view are excellent. Where the rub lies … By en large, the quality of the “help” does not match the surroundings. There are too many things to list that should not exist in this setting with such great potential amidst a group of ignorant, somewhat untrained, inattentive over achievers.
Andersons Custard and Roast Beef is the best place in WNY to get ice cream and roast beef sandwiches. From the restaurant itself, to each and every employee, there is no better place to dine out with your family and friends. Not only is the food great, but Andersons also donates to many local charities. You can’t get any better.
I remember several outstanding NY style pizza places here in the 1960s – gone now. When I returned after living in New York and New Jersey I was stunned by just how bad the local pizza was. Thick, doughy, chewy like catsup on thick bread. But then I found Gino & Joes. One of only 2 real NY Style pizzerias in the city (the other is Zetti’s) if you like thin crust, great sauce, large slice pizza this is the place to go! Just wish they had more stores and were open on weekends and nights.Pros + Inexpensive, Great PizzaCons – Closed nights
