Where is the Best Outdoor Dining in Albuquerque, New Mexico?
Stopped in here one evening after work. Beer selection was great and wait staff was polite and attentive. This cuisine is basic bar food which wasn’t well prepared. It was quite greasy and didn’t particularly taste like anything…thank goodness for the miscellaneous bottled sauces to make it edible. Definitely go if you want a great beer selection to choose from. Just eat elsewhere.Pros + great beer selection….think I mentioned this alreadyCons – bad food
Ragin’ Shrimp is settled in a cozy little building just a block off Central in Nob Hill. In addition to the quaint inside dining room it also has a number of tables on their enclosed, vine covered patio which is very nice during the summer. Unfortunately this place is very much a Hit’nMiss affair. When the food is good, its very good. Other times, its pretty average. There is a rather high turnover in staff here, (both waitstaff and cooks) so you never know what you’re gonna get. It always seems like our waitress/waiter is working their first shift and has no idea what they are doing. Patience is definitely required. As far as the food goes, I usually get the Shrimp and Linguine with one of their delicious sauces, and Green Chile Alfredo is probably my favorite, though you cant go wrong with any of them. However, sometimes they serve you an ample amount to cover all your pasta, while other times there is only a couple spoonfulls. This is a regular source of my frustration with this pla
El Pinto has a great atmosphere. That’s where the good stops. This is where tourist go to eat New Mexican food. Don’t judge New Mexican food by this resturant. The prices are ridiculous also. No one should have to pay that much for a good New Mexican plate unless you know you are paying for the atmosphere. Years ago this was the best place to eat now I only go once a year if that.
