Where is the Best Outdoor Bar in Portland, Oregon?
Been going to this place for years, I own a business in the neighborhood. Since it switched to this establishment, I have seen better service at a truck stop. Granted, it is a bar. But come on, the service is awful and the owner does not care about customers. Too bad, we used to go to Seafood Mama (old name) at least 2x weekly…Cons – rude staff, bad service
I’ve been here four times now. The first two were great. The portabella mushroom sandwich is the best I’ve had anywhere, and the fish and chips were very good. The beer is also excellent. And It looks like they went back to the homemade fries. The last two times I was there though the service was from the same waiter who served each of our pitchers with his fingers around the handle, and his thumb in the beer! We all looked at each other and thought “ew, I’m not sure I’m so thirsty anymore.” The first time he said he was just at the register too, so we got the feeling like he was just handling money and then stuck his thumb in our drink. He also had the attitude like if you rubbed him the wrong way, he’d hock in your burger or something. I would say the service has been typically “less than friendly.” I hope it improves, because the food and beer is worth trying them again.
