I frequent Tiny’s a couple of times a week and I love the food quality, freshness and overall taste. They have great selection of drinks & juices. I’ve never been in the morning, I’m more of an afternoon goer but I’ve always received my food promptly – hot and tasty. Though the food and service is great, I mostly go there because it is such a chill place to hang out, feels like home. I can spend a whole afternoon there, though I wish there were a few more games to choose from other than the wii, for the times I just want a break from my homework or latest book!

We had a great time, but on that night the chef was gone because of a family emergency and we could only do a limited menu which was still good. I was there a week before and there was zero seating on the patio so we had to wait for a pretty long time. We had a great Rose wine at the bar and finally got a seat out back 30 minutes later. The patio is very private and feels like hanging out in your own back yard. Comfy! It is a good place to drop by after work for all of us.You might call to see if they will do reservations since I’m not sure.Pros + Beautiful bar, very European feeling patio, nice server.Cons – They need more outside seating for sure. Didn’t know what “Alu” was for ages because the sign doesn’t say.

I have been going to Hall Street for as long as it has been in existence, which I think is over 20 years!! I can honestly say that I’ve NEVER had a bad meal there. On occassion, the service has been rather slow, but usually is commensurate with how busy they are—if you go on a wk. end , or Friday night , you are going to wait–even with reservations (which I would ALWAYS recommend here. This you will find AT ANY good popular place–which this is !! My complaint –when lunching with a friend yesterday{ 9/11/07} , was that at the end of our meal, we felt like we were being “hounded” by our server to pay the tab, and be on our way.!! This was a week-day afternoon, and they were not particularly busy. I did not like this, and wrote a “comment card” stating such and mailed it to the GM. This waiter was otherwise faultless.Pros + excellent food nice atmosphere, friendly staff , good parkingCons – inconsistent service depending on your server, cocktails excellent but overpriced

A few girl friends and I have become regulars on Monday nights. The impromptu Celtic jam is so cool. Two friends who have been to Ireland and Scotland tell me this feels authentic. The Irish and Spanish coffees are ideal, the fish and chips are right everytime and my only problem is deciding which entree to try next. I’m so hooked to those beefy fish and chips, but yes, the steak and mushroom pie is just as delicious. Service is prompt. We never worry about where the waitress is, yet we don’t feel “stood over” either.Yes, there is smoking, but I find everyone around quite thoughtful about their smoke…I brought my 90 year old Mom in one early Friday night, then thought I had made a bad timing choice, but no, she was thrilled with the friendly ambience, the food ( the steak and mushroom pie) the well made drink and the charming staff. Since then, she has enjoyed taking her other elder friends in because they are treated well and feel comfortable. Haven’t found a negative here, yet.
