Where is the Best Outdoor Bar in Norfolk, Nebraska?
Being new to the neighborhood, my husband and I were excited to try out a new restaurant, especially after researching on CitySearch. We were excited to try some of the early bird dinner items, which by the way only last until 6:00 pm, not 6:30. Alas, we were too late and slightly disappointed. Nonetheless, the decor was cool and inviting. The bar looked hoppin for a Monday night. The staff was extremely attentive and brought our drinks right away. The mojitos looked fabulous as well as the sangria. (Preganant here – so no alcohol.) I ordered the she-crab as suggested and I must say that it did not dazzle me. I felt there should be actual chunks of crab for a $4 cup of soup. I also ordered the crabcake sandwich. Again, I wanted to be dazzled but was not. There was no imagination put into it. It was a small cake (did not fill the size of the bun) with lettuce, tomato and onion. The tomato was over ripe and I would have liked to have seen this paired with some type of aioli
This place was recommended to me by a bartender in another bar. It ended up being my favorite place to be in the summer!! Now they’ve moved a few blocks down the road. The atmosphere’s not quite the same since they don’t have their outdoor seating anymore, but it’s still a great fun place to go! The bartenders can flip bottles and do tricks, if you’re lucky. Their chicken fingers and broccoli cheeseballs are my favorite!! I always bring all my out of town friends here first.Pros + never empty
