I needed a custom frame and type set for a gift this past week. Not only were Reed and Trudy helpful and kind, but they delivered a beautiful product at unbelievable speed (which is now hanging above my boyfriend’s desk, he loved it!). Their prices are very reasonable, service impeccable and overall they know their stuff. I would recommend this shop for any framing need as well as super cute jewelry and awesome birthday cards. The dog, Oliver, is hilarious as well. I cannot say enough thanks for all their hard work, expertise, and kindness.Pros + Quality, amazing customer service, flexibility, everythingCons – None

This store is amazing. Wonderfully designed and packed to the brim with wonderful merchandise, this store will take your breath away.A group of friends and I recently went out to eat in the lodo area and wandered upon this gem on Wazee. I can tell you, all four of us walked out with amazing items. We are ardent fans of Shelter!I personally love the Voluspa candles I picked up that evening. Everytime I light them, the room is filled with a heavenly scent. I will be back for more.Start your holiday shopping here. YOu won’t be disappointed.Pros + Quality merchandise, Beautiful atmosphere, Cordial staff

Okay crazed fan if you were in adoration of Blinky I don’t think this is a place to go worship a clown. Rather it is an amazing nook to stumble upon a sanctuary that Blinky has preserved himself. I walked in and was transported to another, well time, and place. Despite another review I read here, Blinky had a big smile in spite of an oxygen tank, answered all my questions and offered extra help and ancedotes. Like anyone I am sure he has good and bad days. I fell in love with the space. He is an obvious music lover (various jazz and 30’s era musicians were being played when I was in) and historian and really the best way to see the shop is to stand in one place (it is tiny) and take it all in. If you want a space that is in a linear order and everything has its place this may not be for you. If you want to discover living history go to Blinky’s. As a plus packrat antiques is on this block also….Pros + character, living history, great place to discoverCons – not for those who

My first experience at the red door was pretty enjoyable. I found some unique gifts and had fun taking in the fun decor. The owner was a little scatter brained I.E. running after me in the street 15 minutes after I had been in, because she forgot to give me an item I purchased in my bag. But over all our conversation was pleasant.Upon my second visit I noticed the ‘moving sale’ sign and enquired where she was moving. There was no definite answer and when I questioned her about the foot traffic in the area for all the local business owners I suddenly got a rude and blunt response that made me feel so awkward and uncomfortable. Though I like the store and I think that sometimes creativity comes with quarks, this store lacks consistency and a true professionalism. The items in the boutique I can find other places and I most likely wont go back in. You have options when you shop and being at ease and having a good experience is worth more to me.Also based on the high tension
