Any place with that has an Elvis shrine and proudly serves PBRs is my kind of place. Throw in some kick-ass rockability and you might not want to leave.Be prepared for a smoke-filled place with the “normal” Little 5 crowd. Pros + Cold PBRsCons – Smoky as Hell

Dear past reviewer on typed “stringy toro”, You probably misheard O-toro for their Chu-toro, since Chu-toro can contain a little bit more sinew than aforementioned O-toro, which said O-toro from MF is MOST DEFINITELY frozen, thus breaking down cell walls with improper defrosting procedures(I know how MF operates), gives you that oh-so-awesome melt-in-your-mouth feel. Even though most fish for raw consumption NEEDS to be frozen before eaten, there’s one rule in japanese cuisine-YOU NEVER FREEZE TUNA, EVER! So what Zuma looks like an arcade from 1995….They are an honest mom n’ pop n’ son operation that churns out great, buttery sushi with no strings attached(except for the occasional sinew[it happens])! This is a great improv place close to the highlands and little five points downtown. I used to go every thursday. Bring your student id if you have one and save on ticket prices. It is a great place to tag someone along when you’re first getting to know them….as in a date. I love this place.

Surely not a spot to plop for the entire evening but definitely a chill “hole in the wall” that beats most holes. Great for a warm up drink before the running of the bars. Also, wonderful for cooling down from the full blown club. Not a great abundance of seats but the drinks come quick and music’s quite nice. Not a pretentious place for all you cute folks to be seen, so beware. El bar is worth the try.Pros + Small, quaintCons – Parking’s a mess but i dont care

I am still on the fence about M Bar. Depending on the day, you may find the well-dressed after work crowd or people going out for a drink before going to the club. On another day you can find a mixed crowd that consists of people in white tees/black tees/red tees (you get the point) ,others who are very casually dressed, and well dressed people. Wednesday is a great night to go for an after work wind-down. My observation tells me that M Bar is a place that you can go to just for a drink or a place you can go to to meet the opposite gender.Pros + the sceneCons – limited street parking, uncomfortable bar stools
