Where is the Best Off-The-Wall Date Spot in Atlanta, Georgia?

My boys (14 and 16) and I took the trail from Atlanta to the current end. We spent the night in a hotel and came back the next day. The trip was a little hard on the boys and we had a great time. This is a good place to enjoy. Water is hard to find, so make sure you take plenty with you……. We went on a Tuesday and Wednesday so there was very little traffic on the trail.Pros + flat, cool even in summerCons – little water, few places to stop

Chef Rafih provides exotic surroundings with complex flavors, tender meats, delicious ideas, and gorgeous belly dancers. The Imperial Fez is a place for the celebration of life, offering an escape from the normal Atlanta restaurant scene. Take a couple hours out of your day to pull up a pillow (and maybe a hookah), watch a belly dancer play with fire, and enjoy a great meal you won’t soon forget. The only drawback is that the waitstaff has a habit of vanishing for long periods of time, not refilling your drinks for 2 hours, and then upon leaving having the nerve to run up to you and say, “The tip was not included!” when your meal has been comped…Pros + relaxed atmostphere, amazing foodCons – questionable waitstaff with little tact

I’m from San Francisco, and came to town wanting some good southern fried chicken. A friend of mine took me here last night and I can’t stop thinking about it. Best fried chicken I have ever had ( and I’ve eaten a LOT of fried chicken in my life). greasy goodness. Pros + amazing fried chicken

I personally wouldnt call this a “dive bar”. Sure it looks pretty bad on the outside but everytime i’ve been there its pretty much the same type of crowd…kinda like what you might find at The Local except with live music. This isnt a bad thing, but definitely not a dive bar crowd. Personally, though, I wouldnt want to be walking around this area after dark but maybe thats just me. Anyway, theres a small area to watch live bands play, a couple of pool tables, 5 or 6 different beers on draft. It seems to start getting pretty busy at about 12am, but in my experience the bands seem to go on early…like around 9 pm. I would definitely recommend going here, especially since they are moving to a new location soon.Pros + good crowdCons – sketchy area
