Where is the Best No-Cover Nightspot in New York, New York?
We used to go here every weekend for the $10 brunch despite the fact that one of the waitresses was such a b*tch that we used to actually laugh about it every week. Then two things happened: the cooks changed and they raised the price. While the asparagus and eggs used to be made with high-quality olive oil and shaved parmisian, it’s now diner-quality greasy with some Kraft-esque dust on top. These days the “Tuscan Truffled Eggs” should be changed to “Corn Oil Eggs in the Hole.” While this was annoying, the audacity of the $2 increase that now results in a poorer-quality brunch for more money is disappointing. While a $12 brunch that includes a drink ain’t shabby, it’s not worth putting up with that borderline-psycho waitress. Needless to say, I’ve taken my brunch business elsewherePros + Brunch includes cocktailCons – hit-or-miss staff, quality of food dramatically reduced

Although I ended up sitting on the comfy couches in the corner which happened to be right underneath a speaker. This was a little annoying but no worse than any other loud bar. The drinks were very good and not too pricey. I heard they had a fireplace, and I thought it was funny to see a working fireplace, only with 3 lit candles resting peacefully in it. I can’t wait to go back on a weekend when It’s more hopping. Midnight on Wednesday isn’t prime party time. Which made this the pe
