Where is the Best Nail Salon in St. Louis, Missouri?

I have had a facial, my hair-styled, and lashes tinted here (can’t beat the price for a lash tint). I was pleased with all these services, except when I had a make-up application done. She did not ask what colors I liked (I prefer a neutral palette, and she used the opposite), she did not cleanse/moisturize my face (although I arrived with a clean face, the service is still suppose to include this). Finally, she did not use mascara. The make-up was nice, however I did not look like myself – it would have been nice had I been going out to a party/event – not for family pictures as I had planned that day. If you go for a mini-facial there, you might want to go to Scandals. I felt that my facial was barely 30 minutes at Ginger Bay, and at Scandals, I felt that it was over 30 minutes, and it was much more relaxing. My friends have gotten Ginger Bay pedicures and said those were great – especially the atmosphere.Pros + Ambience, ParkingCons – Price

I have never been complimented so much on my hair. I won’t quit going here to see Christy, because I always feel great after leaving. I feel like a model. It is affordable, yet I know I look like I paid high salon prices. The staff there is knowledgeable, consistant, and caring. They have are willing to make suggestions, and make you feel like a better you.

I’ve been to both F&Bs a few times (nails, hair removal, massage) and I’ve bought a whole lot of gift certificates there — it’s time to stop. I usually walk out thinking that I could have had just as good a service at another place for less money. The environment is nice (well, the Clarkson site has cheesy wall art, but still…), but the staff are not trained in customer service skills (note to staff: standing in a pack at the front desk may make you fee more secure, but it is off-putting to people walking in), and some of the services that should be included are not (eyebrow tinting did not include wax touch up or trim). If they’re aiming to be a east/west coast type of place, I’ve got news: services are cheaper and better in other cities for similar facilities. I’d pass.Pros + locations good for me, parkingCons – overpriced, average skills overall

I admit that I have only been there once but that experience was enough for me to not only want to go back this Friday(April 09,2008) for a formal up do, but bring two of my closest friends (also they fit us all in the same time with only a weeks notice during prom/formal season:))with me to get their up do’s done also.:) When I went there the first time I fond the staff friendly and knowledgeable I got a color and got my FREE hair cut with it which was pretty cool. Their prices were and are a great plus, I’m a college student and being able to have a affordable hair is awesome. I will agree with one review the area is really bad for parking the only reason I don’t have a personal compliant about that it because I live with in walking distance. During the spring, summer, and fall the garden/flower store across the street gets a lot a business I have trouble having friends park in front of my own house because their(plant place) customers parking all the way back to my own house so yeah
