Where is the Best Nail Salon in San Francisco, California?
If I could live at La Belle Day Spa, I would pack my bags immediately and head straight there. This full service spa features services such as massages, mani/pedis, haircuts, facials and even clinical procedures; talk about your one stop shop! The atmosphere is so relaxing in this small but luxurious spa, that you forget you are in the heart of Union Square. At $25 for a manicure and $50 for a pedicure this place is a little pricey for your regular upkeep, but everyone needs to treat themselves (or others) once in a while and La Belle is the perfect place to do so.
OMG. My friend and I recently attended a bridal shower at Pinkies. It was over the top. Everything was great, services, desk staff and general ambiance. They even fit in a friend who didn’t have an appointment. We felt soooo pampered. I can’t wait to get married myself so I can have my bridal shower here. But, Pinkies in definitely now my nail salon as I came back the following week for waxing…..yes, the “take it all off” by Annie was the best I’ve every had.Pros + Great Parking. Super friendly staff. Perfect services. Super clean!!!Cons – Can get really busy so try to book an appointment
Urania Campos has been doing nails for 20 years. She is very thorough, friendly and accomodating. She does a thorough job. I really liked my pedicure. She got rid of the dead skin on my feet and took care trimming cuticles. She also did a manicure for me. I got french tips. Since I don’t like the “white out” look she recommened a more natural color white. She was the first one to do that. I will be back. They offer everything from facials, massage, nutrition advice. Each with individuals who specialize in those particular areas. They are on the third floor and you have to walk up but it’s not too bad. Check them out. You need to make an appointment/no walk-ins.Pros + service, public transportation, quiet
I got my second ‘mani/pedi’ here a couple days ago and I was very pleased with my experience here. (As a straight male I feel like I have to use quotes there. I don’t get enough manicures or pedicures to really need to abbreviate the words.) I had only had one mani/pedi before but it was performed by a man in India and let me tell you it wasn’t even close to this. First of all it seems like Cocoon only hires attractive young women for its staff. Lovely. They are very personable and accomodating and everything is generally set up to provide maximum relaxation. The chair was very comfortable. Despite 45 minutes of doing what they do to your fingers and toes with what appear to be sharp metal instruments, there was no pain as I was lulled into a dreamlike state while reading Esquire and drinking a beer they brought me from the restaurant downstairs. All in all it was a great experience and I think I will get another mani/pedi in the future. I never knew my fingernails could
