Where is the Best Nail Salon in Portland, Oregon?

I had Stacey at afterglow do my hair and makeup for my wedding in November and it turned out wonderful. She even was willing to travel clear to Seattle, where our location was, to be on site the morning of my big day. I have been getting my hair done with her since she moved here in october, and I was so happy to have such a skilled and reliable stylist there for me. Everything turned out great and the test trials for hair and makeup were completely free making the whole thing really reasonable. I had previously tried out different types of makeup at makeup counters and kept ending up not looking at all like myself or having extremely smokey eyes, which was not what I wanted for my wedding. It was a relief to hear that my stylist had done wedding makeup before in California and was able to give me a lovely natural look that turned out great in pictures. I wish I could share some pictures on here, it really turned out great, I am still very very pleased.Pros + free consultation,

I had “Le grande classique” facial. It was 60 bucks and probably the best facial for my money.I have problem free skin and just wanted to get rid of my dry and tired look. This worked wonders!!!!My skin felt very very clean and soft.I was glowing.Izam is a great lady. She gently explained all the procedures..the oils and masks they use smell very good and are all natural–nothing was hurtful or uncomfortable. The scalp massage and shoulder massage could have been longer though. The best part…my blackheads loosened up and come off after the treatment.(I don’t have much).without the horrible clinical method of removing it.5 stars.Cons – Bad location

Amanda at Lola’s really knows how to treat you. I go every 4 weeks for a brow wax and as often as a can for a facial. Her facials are out of this world. My skin has never felt better. There are several different treatments involved and steam if you like it. Ask her to do a facial for your feet!Lola’s is small but inviting. She has warming blankets in the massage table that make me melt – even if I’m just having a brow wax. When I went to Vegas I got a bronzing treatment there as well. It started out with exfoliation and then application of the bronzing lotion. She was very careful not to scrub too hard on my splotchy sunburn which I appreciated. It was super affordable ($40 I think?) and she even sent me home with some of the product to use on my face. The downsides? She doesn’t take credit cards yet – but hey, if you can’t afford to pay cash you probably shouldn’t go.Pros + Comfortable relaxed atmosphere, great treatments, convenient locationCons – Doesn’t take pla

The Dragontree is such a special place. Just walking in the front door I feel I’m invited to let go of my daily stresses and experience peace and healing. I have had massage from Roxanne, Joy, John, Chrissy and Serena and they are all so gifted and present in the art of massage. When I started working out again I was of course sore and needed a soothing and gentle massage, and they do that so well. I typically however have tension headaches and postural problems which requires deeper massage and more knowledge and skill. I am so impressed with the quality and expertise of the therapists at The Dragontree. Each time I go, where ever I am physically, mentally and emotionally, each therapist has been receptive and attentive and I get exactly what I need. When I just have the time or money for a little bit of nurturing, it is amazing how much I benefit from a head, neck and shoulder massage or foot massage in the Sangha Room. The Sangha Room is a community room with big cushy couch

N.B.: HairM occasionally has promotions in which they reward customers who post favorable reviews. Without passing judgment, I just want to make clear that I am not being compensated or rewarded in any way for this review. There are already 280 reviews of this place as I write this, so I’ll keep it brief. The fact is that HairM provides a really nice experience for their customers and they do so at an extraordinary price. I grew up in L.A., where you can get a facial, scalp massage, neck rub, and glass of wine with your haircut–if you pay hundreds of dollars for it. At HairM, those are standard parts of the King’s Cut, which costs under $50. It’s more expensive than Rudy’s or Bishop’s, but you get a genuinely relaxing experience that you can really look forward to. Pros + Great experience, great priceCons – May take time to find a stylist you click with
