This email is in response to “grh” and any current or potential customers. Im disappointed to hear about this experience however I am glad that grh posted their review. Albeit a little unfavorable for Wax On, it provides an opportunity for the esthetician and I to review our policies and procedures and can be used as a learning experience. I certainly cant say whether this particular esthetician was feeling busy or feeling overwhelmed that particular day however, it shouldnt matter. Every client should receive the best service possible, the type of service that Wax On is not only known for but has won awards for! If a customer has an experience that was not up to ours or their expectations, I prefer to personally hear about it. I want everyone to have the best experience, guaranteed, when they come to Wax On.Again, I appreciate input. It is valuable to me. “grh” if you would like to contact me one of the best ways to reach me is via email at waxonspa1@yahoo(dot)com.Thank you for y

So I have extrememly sensitive skin, and am also a professional performer who spends a lot of time in stage make-up. When I first started going to Noni, my skin was a wreck–somehow dry and flaky and oily at the same time. She gave me a pain-free facial that included cleansing, steaming, masks, extractions that didn’t hurt and facial massage, and I have to say that my skin never returned to it’s previous haggard state–Noni recommended products to me based on my lifestyle and the nature and state of my skin, and years later I still use the same stuff, and it is as effective as ever. It was very educational! My skin has been smooth and clear since that first fateful facial, and since then I have had more facials from Noni, mostly just because I like the experience, and also have gone to her for waxing, including eyebrows, which she does quickly, and they are always perfect and symmetrical, and never once have I ended up looking surprised or remotely like Edith Piaf. I went to this salon with a friend of mine. She scheduled a 60-min. facial, I had a 75-min. facial. Both started at the same time. And, unfortunately, both ended at the same time. When I requested a refund for the percentage of time I did not receive ($15) I was told they could offer me another facial that I had to get within two weeks. I was also told that they had extended my friend’s service so that we both got 75-min. treatments. I was told that they had clocked my service ending at the correct time, implying that I was lying. Thankfully, I still had my receipt showing that, if their version of events was truthful, I would have had to shower, change, get downstairs, and pay within three minutes. I was offered another free service to be used within six months. Since I had no desire to return to their salon, their offer of a free service was ridiculous. Also, I wasn’t asking for another $75 treatment. I just wanted back what I had overpaid. In the end, I had to file a complaint wit

I have been receiving facials & other spa services for many years now and the service & treatment I have been given at The Pointe is unsurpassed. I’ve seen two different estheticians there and both are incredibly knowledgeable and have a great talent for skin care. Front desk staff is always quick with a smile, ambiance is comfortable, and I love being given the choice of a nice cup of hot tea or a glass of wine or even a mimosa! Also a bonus is the spa uses two different product lines for skin care, both of which I love! Waxing is as comfortable as it gets, massage therapists are super and the nail technicians are friendly and personable. I’ve purchased gift cards for several friends/family members and they all seem to have the same wonderful experience I have each time I am there. Thank you so much Pointe Day Spa!Pros + Validated parking, use of athletic club for spa clients, knowledgeable staffCons – can’t think of one!
