Where is the Best Nail Salon in Portland, Oregon?
I’ve been a Yuko client for many years at a different NW Ptld salon and was so stressed when my long time stylist moved to the east coast leaving a stylist who, thought delightful, is newly oriented to the Japanese straightening process. And as I have no fondness for that salon in general …. my search for a new hair straightening master was on! Searched Japanese hair straightening on Citysearch and called all the salons listed on the west side… I was most impressed when I called Hair Architects.. Dante took all the time I needed to answer my questions and address my concern that the product that they used was not one that I had used in the past. I decided to take the plunge and scheduled with John Nickell. First… there’s parking! The salon was light filled, I was greeted by pleasant people, Jon listened to my history and evaluated my hair. I have been going to Bliss for quite awhile now and meaning to get on here and rave about it. I have nothing but excellent things to say. My stylist is Nicole and she is nothing short of an expert at what she does. I am constantly complimented on my cuts and color. If I tell her what I want, she does precisely what I ask. If I leave it up to her, she comes up with something awesome. She always goes out of her way to accommodate me and my schedule. I can tell that she loves what she does and she is definitely a perfectionist, as someone else in another review mentioned. Additionally, the salon is always clean and relaxing. Ethan at the front desk is always hilarious and friendly and the other stylists are fun to listen to and be around. Any time I call and leave a voice mail, someone calls me back well within the day and is ready to help me. Good stuff, Nicole, Ethan and Bliss! Keep it up! Let me say this, I did have some trouble getting the appointment scheduled similar to some of the reviews below. I did, however, get that worked out with a personal call from the owner, Megan. Today was the day that my boyfriend and I visited the spa and had a really great experience. From the beginning of our appointment where we worked out our aromatherapy to the time we left, we were made to feel extremely special and were well taken care of. For those of you that take reviews seriously, it is pretty apparent from the content/timing of the bad reviews that they don’t seem legit. I would highly recommend giving Aequis a try for yourself. I am sooo thankful to find Kalista! I was looking online for a salon that knew what they were doing with hair extensions. I was impressed from the very beginning when I stumbled across Kalista’s website.
