Where is the Best Nail Salon in New York, New York?
Ihave suffered from acne my entire life. It comes out even more when i am stressed, i have also recently lost my job and I went for an interview and relized that one of the reasons i did not get it was because of my appearence. I decided i should do something about it and to get to the bottom of why when i get stressed the acne spreads like wild fires!I live in NY so i decided to go to Bliss since everyone raves about it. 150.00 later and products It was great on the appearence end but when it came to service it was not at all what i expected. I wanted to ask questions and get to the root of the problem not to be told: Just but this it will work.Then after that facial had no effect on even the slightest curing of my acne i decided to go to a nutritionist maybe what i am eating is causing me to breakout! So 400 dollars later im eating someones special food again not getting to the root of this problem. So now 600 dollars later and my acne is still spreading like wild fires. I
One of my favorite spas in the city. I’ve been here twice. I’ve had deep tissue and hot stone massages, as well as reflexology and a “barrel soak” body treatment. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. The treatments weren’t the best i have ever had, but they are still up there. They pay attention to detail, which is very nice. During my barrel soak they provided me with chilled sparkling water, grapes, and iced towels to cool myself off if I got too hot. The relaxation area is big and they provide free snacks and wine. They don’t rush you out which to me is very important. In fact I ordered in lunch on my first visit and dinner on my second. The locker room is nice, but very small. I went to the Warren-Tricomi Salon after seeing the amazing job they did with a friend’s hair & makeup for her rehearsal dinner & wedding. The salon in the new Plaza location is really beautiful and the receptionists were friendly and very accomodating. I was a bit earlier, and they took me immediately where Naru styled my hair. I didn’t have a specific style in mind, but I explained my concerns & needs. She knew exactly what would look good on me, worked fast, and was super friendly the entire time. Next I went to the makeup artist…who was not who I was told I would be working with as I made an appointment with a different person, but I was fine with it. Again, I didn’t have specifics as to what I wanted, but expressed a few wishes. She barely spoke which makes it a bit uncomfortable, but she did a beautiful job. I would absolutely go back to Naru and try another makeup artist out, simply as a comparison. Prices are a bit high, but not unexpected. I would love to go back to get a gr
I visited Fifi about a year ago, when I was looking to get some acrylic tips. I was trying to find a reputable place, and happened to find this on Citysearch. The location is great — right on 57th St, and since I was going to MoMA afterwards, this was convenient. The staff was friendly, and I carried on a great conversation with them. My pedicure was perfectly fine, no issues there. However, the acrylic tips that I got were HORRIBLE.They broke off (the tips that they used are so thin that they should only be used with silk wraps or something reinforceable) and ripped my natural nails with them. Also, the filing/buffing job was done manually, and so terribly that you could see the ridge between my natural nail and where the tip began. Oh my — horrible!
