I had a great haircut at Spalon. I’ve also had waxing done there and it was pretty good, not the best, but ok. The atmosphere is nice and …

I recently found a great girl at Cole’s that seemed to listen to what I wanted. I decided after having my son that I needed a change so I scheduled a consulation to cut off at least 10 inches of my hair, get a new hairstyle and also color and highlight my hair. The style ended up to be nowhere near what I asked for but it was still nice so I didn’t complain but she was late that day so she didn’t even style my hair or show me the back of it. For 135.00 dollar (which included a 10.00 upcharge for a hairstyle request) I didn’t even get my hair styled just blown dry and out the door I went. I felt really bad about it because it was expensive for me and I don’t think it’s appropriate to short change anyone to make up for lost time.

My first haircut and styling at Lili was the best. The massage at the wash bowl started the experience. I enjoyed that!! My stylist visited with me, made suggestions about the cut and she took the time to do an elegant job. I wish we had “before” and “after” pictures! The salon was a sparkling, peaceful and pretty. I’m coming back for more! Pros + My hair looks super

Wonderful experience, so impressed. Natasha is a warm, talented person and that shines through. My facial was fabulous, very gentle and thoughtful, with lots of great massage. Pedicure was great, very hydrating and cleansing. Decor warm and fresh, and most importantly, this place is quiet, not like the big places where you’re moved around like cattle. You definitely feel like #1 here, and the experience is relaxing and enjoyable. It’s also nice to feel that you’re in a “home” setting; it all contributes to the warmth. They were flexible with my schedule, fitting in my two appointments back-to-back only the day before, despite them being busy. Facial products also great, and I was given free samples to try which is always welcome. Definitely give your hard earned money to LaBella, not the other more well known places. Pros + Great value for money, lovely people, quietCons – None

I had a rare opportunity with some time to myself and really needed a spa experience. I don’t like Aveda products (they dry out my skin and hair) so it’s hard to find places in Minneapolis to go. Haven was perfect! The space is open and airy in an Uptown Loft. I had booked a package. It started with a pedicure. The esthetician, Tammy Boots, was sweet and funny. While I soaked my feet she brought me a cup of hot chocolate – perfect for the very cold winter day. The pedicure was relaxing and she spent a lot of time massaging my feet and legs.Next we went into a private room for a facial and massage. Tammy suggested that we combine the two, which would allow the face masks to have more time to penetrate. She also gave me a brow wax, which went quickly and smoothly. The massage was fantastic. She really worked out some of my knots and I feel so much better. On some parts she used hot stones to really work in the relaxing heat.Best of all was the facial. Haven uses Dr.
