Where is the Best Nail Salon in Dallas, Texas?
My husband and I have recently relocated from Colorado and I was sad to leave the woman who had waxed me for the past year and a half. I thought I never find anyone better than her. Well, I have! Alla was wonderful! I had an underarm and bikini done, which took approx one hour (a little long because it was the first session). The room was very comfortable with the dimmed lights and music. I could have fallen asleep if it had been for the waxing, which has been the least painful I’ve experienced in about 8-9 years of waxing. She talked to me about my skin and previous experiences with waxes. Throughout the session she explained what she was doing and asked me how I was doing or if I was experiencing pain. The type of wax she used adhered to the hair itself, not the skin. (This is important for me because I have very sensitive skin, a tendency for ingrown hairs, and a scar in the bikini line.) The salon is in an neat, but old house. Tudor, perhaps? I’ve tried the salon several times – waxing, haircut, color, and makeup for an event. Besides one stylist who does awesome updo’s, I’m not impressed. I’ll start with the stylist, whose name I’ll add another time as I can’t recall it at this moment. My daughter has been to her for several up-do’s. A few times we’ve had to try other stylist because our favorite was not available. Turns out, she has a full time job with a major airline company and works as a stylist part time. She ALWAYS creates what my daughter requests. We always have our hair done late morning, and the up-do will last all thru late night without a problem! Other stylists (this salon and elsewhere) up-do’s have never made to the event before starting to fall apart! Besides our favorite stylist for up-dos, I”m not impressed with the salon. The stylist I’ve tried, I never like their haircuts. But, even more frustrating is the house itself. It is quite cramp trying
After seeing SCOTT I felt like I had my own hair stylist to the stars just for me. This was the most personalized service I have ever had! SCOTT is more concerned with how I look than any agenda or product line. When you leave SCOTT’s you know without a shadow of a doubt that he has devoted every second to ensure a (10) car pile up as soon as you walk out the door. SCOTT is the only PROFESSIONAL that I would be willing to close my eyes and let him do what he thought best!!! Only because I am overly confident that he has the forsight & skill of a HAIR GENIUS. Think I am just pouring compliments on a friend or family member? Then go see SCOTT and see if you are not the next review on here thanking me for letting you know. I PROMISE IT WILL BE THE BEST MOVE YOU HAVE EVER MADE!Pros + I don’t think we have that much time . . . . Cons – I didn’t find him sooner!
