Where is the Best Nail Salon in Columbus, Ohio?
I’ve been going to Salon at Polaris for a long time. I’ve always had great service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The salon is very clean and the stylists are professional. I have never seen the salon dirty and do not know what the other responder was talking about in a previous post. Yes, there may be a little hair on the floor but come on, its a HAIR salon. I have even recieved free haircuts by sending my friends into the salon. I would reccomend everyone to the Salon at Polaris!!!!!Pros + Friendly staff, they also give great facials & pedicuresCons – not open late on Friday or Saturdays
I used to just go to whatever nail place was convenient and open before I found this establishment. The service is great and the store is clean. They will even stay open later if you come around closing time.I regularly have them change my toenail polish now. For 13 bucks, they will not only polish but re-shape and buff your toenails. They really fuss over the job too. One of their teenage daughters explained to me she was going to apply another coat because the OPI color I had chosen didn’t look dark enough to her. Another time, I was trying to dig in my bag for some quick dry drops and the lady doing my hands and toes told me very kindly to relax and pulled it out of my bag for me and applied them. As the other reviewer mentioned, this is a family run establishment. This is the only place I’ll go for nails now unless I absolutely need to do them on a Sunday (when, alas, they are closed.) I’m in my 8th month of pregnancy. My husband purchased a Gift Certificate for a day of relaxation. Boy, did I need it! The gift certificate came in a gift box inside a decorative gift bag w/color tissue including a complimentary bottle of Spa Hand Lotion. From the time I entered the beautiful spa I was waited on hand-and-foot. I got a Maternal Massage, 4-Layer Facial, Spa Pedicure w/paraffin and a Deluxe Spa Manicure. Relaxing music filled every room. I also was treated to a delicious catered lunch served in their beautiful Tranquil Room. Everything was perfect! I was blown away by the staffs professionalism, expertise and knowledge. They tended to my every need. My esthetician recommended a great At-Home Skin Regimen. Ive been to other day spas in Columbus, which I thought were good until I experienced The Retreat!
