Where is the Best Nail Salon in Chicago, Illinois?
PROFESSIONAL, CARING AND CLEANGoing to the spa feels like an oasis. You are escorted to the back of the salon with it’s subdued lighting and music. I felt pampered and not rushed from the moment I walked into the salon. I had a facial, had my eyebrows shaped and the unwanted hair removed with a string. It proved to be better than waxing. The colorist, shampoo person and stylist all did an amazing job and I walked out of the salon feeling rejuvenated and looked great. As a client it is important for me that the colorist and stylist listen to what I want my hair to look like but I also valued their comments. Working together proved to achieve the results I had hoped for.The owner obviously has taken comments from clients and keeps improving on an aready great salon. Pamper yourself and have a great expericence.
Been to G Klinger many times. Same complaint every time – wonderful facial………too much talk. In and out of room…..in and out…..in and out……….goes on and on and on. And…everytime you are left alone, you are told to relax. Then, just as you begin to relax, you are interrupted and another sales pitch is headed your way! For $85.00 (which is a basic facial, nothing extra)….I want to have the facial and not be constantly talked to and thrown a sales pitch. I’ve had many facials all over the world and Klinger’s is one of the BEST…………except for all of the talk. I have been going to Maggie and Renata for 6 years. I followed them both from Joseph Michaels to Ambra, and they’re both amazing. Maggie’s manicures and pedicures are the best I’ve ever had. The polish stays on for well over a week—no chipping or peeling. After going to her, you’ll wonder why you ever went to anyone else. She is a pleasure to talk to, and always does her best to fit me in. Renata does a fabulous job with waxing and making your skin glow. She has been waxing my eyebrows for years, and they always look perfect, even if I wait longer than usual to go back in. I get compliments all the time on my brows, and they look very natural. Renata has also suggested some different face products for me, and they have all worked well on my sensitive skin. She’s so sweet, and always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed.I just started going to Anna for my cut and highlights. I wish I had started going to her a long time ago! Today I decided it was a day for a change. I have been a blond my whole life. I was not only afraid of drastically changing my hair style/color, but I was also afraid of the quality of service I would receive. I went to one hair salon a year ago where the styalist cut my scalp while she was cutting my hair. The scissors were unsanitary, and it caused an infection that not only caused parts of my hair to fall out, but cost hundreds of dollars to get rid of. When I finally got the courage to get my hair done again, I went to a salon that I went to as a kid. The styalist was so rude and she did a poor job. I went in for highlights and ended up with checkboard bleach blond hair. Needless to say I spend 3 hours online this morning looking for a good salon. I called all of the ones with good ratings, and they were all EXTREMELY expensive. I walked into My Friends Place Salon prepared for the worst, but I walked away with something far different. I get my hair cut and colored by Gabby. She is incredibly talented, as well as, friendly and professional. She has always switched me up when it’s time. Never stale cuts. So much so, I have never, even after several years, needed to go to someone else for a ‘fresh” cut or color. And my hair is always changing.She will give me free bang trims when I am in that mode, gives me her honest opinion on color, and always smiles!Love her!!Trust me, my hair always looks great. Even after 6-8 weeks. that is the true test to a great cut. Oh, and hew finishing is amazing.
