Where is the Best Nail Salon in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Before Dilworth Nails, I went to a very expensive and well known salon to have my acrylic nails done, and inevitably in just a few days my nails were flying off, and I feared I end up in litigation for putting someone’s eye out with a flying index fingernail one day. I happened across Dilworth Nails when I could no longer get a reasonable appointment at the well known salon and the prices were just too high, and have been with Dilworth Nails ever since. Six years and countless nail tips later, I am still having my acrylic nails done at Dilworth Nails and never had a bad experience. Many times, when I have no polish on, people mistake my acrylic nails for natural ones. (I wish!) The prices are more than reasonable and the staff is always friendly and fun. I have no problem recommending all my friends to Dilworth Nails. (By the way, the salon owner, Lisa, is absolutely hysterical).Pros + Excellent place to relax & be treated like the queen you areCons – They aren’t open 24
I’m new to the city, went in for a facial and had a decent experience. Some spas are in loud parts of town, this is in alone in a building and allows for a very relaxing experience. The downfall was that I got the facial which included a neck and arms massage. I did not receive this part of the service. It was a great facial, but probably could have been a little less expensive, considering I didn’t receive part of the service.Pros + very quiet, relaxingCons – spa description not accurate
After moving from CA 2yrs ago I thought I would never find anyone who could highlight my hair the way I am used to having it done. I have been to tons of salons in Charlotte and have never been back to the same stylist more than 2x. My last and final attempt was at All About You Salon. Shannon listened to everything that I told her about my hair and she did an amazing job on my highlight. The color is just stunning. No golds, yellows, brassiness or red. She is such a nice person and I have already made my next appt. with her. HIGHLY recommend.Pros + EverythingCons – Nothing
I had been spoiled when I moved here from Washington DC. My best friend there is a top stylist that is booked months in advance with all the “Who’s Who” of the DC metro area. So for the first few years I would fly back on E-savers for her to do my hair, but that became too inconvenient. I started searching and after TONS of trial and error, I finally found Jason at Varji. Both the south park location and the Morehead street location are nice. Jason mainly works at Morehead which works best for my Elizabeth location. However I have zero hesitation to travel to South Park when he is there. He takes the time to listen and his cut is fantastic. After my second visit he had my color down perfectly (he had to fix a mess I brought him the first visit). He really funny and kind, and makes you feel right at home. I have had several strangers stop me and ask me about my cut since I started seeing him in November. After my very first visit, my mother took one look at the results and bo
Having naturally curly hair can be a nightmare when it comes to chosing a hair stylist, however very shortly after moving to Charlotte- I found Marc! After about a year of cuts, Marc left his previous place of employment and left me dumbfounded! After years of searching and finally giving up, a friend of mine located Marc which sent me to Charles Grayson. I had never heard of the spa/salon, but they were very quick in booking a much missed appointment with my long lost Marc! I have only used the salon services, but I am always greated with a smile and treated so kind. If you have curly hair, I would definitley recommend giving Marc a try. Having very long curly hair himself, Marc knows what it takes to cut the curls and WILL NOT allow you to get a cut that your hair won’t handle. I love and trust Marc and look forward to trying some of the other services that Charles Grayson offers.
