Where is the Best Nail Salon in Austin, Texas?
I highly recommend hair stylist Emily Hatfield for a haircut and/or color. Finally, after 5 years of being in the Austin area, I have found a true expert and professional in the hair industry. I have long, straight, heavy hair; that I find sometimes, female stylists have a hard time handling. I’m typically open to whatever hair cutting technique the stylist wants to use, as long as they ‘keep the length’ 😉 …but extremely picky when choosing color …having dark brown hair, it’s easy to look like a zebra. Emily immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease with her warm, yet outgoing personality, and vast knowledge of hair color and care products. I loved that I could leave so much of the decision making up to her, and came out looking like a million bucks. I live and work in Round Rock, so when my appointment went a little past 8pm, I was surprised and delighted at how welcome the staff still made me feel; and didn’t try to rush me out. And finally, the amount of complime
I was just at the salon for a wedding I was a attending for my cousin. The bride, her mother, mother of the groom, other cousins, maid of honor, matron of honor, bridesmaids and other family members were all here. There was whispering among us, bad past history, crys of sadness, crying of joy and the salon actually helped us keep an even keel. They were very zen if you would say. I felt tacky for the way I was acting and they created a very safe environment for me. They listened and then gave support and love for us all. Very strange experience for me. Not gossipy or belittleing. Just reminding us that family is all we have …….for better or worse. Forgive and comfort. Well, there was one typical stylist telling us of her drama and problems with boys. All about her, while she coughed up a lung. Well everyone did excellent bridal hair. I mean excellent. We had fits and bad comments about each other and the salon swooped in and got involved and “fixed” our issues. The
This was our first time at She-Etc. From the time we parked to the time we left, it was a great experience. My husband was a little hesitant to get a couple’s massage since his last massage at a different location was not the best. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with very friendly service. We felt very comfortable from the very beginning. For the couple’s massage, they took us to a little cottage in the back of the main house. As soon as you walk in to the cottage, you know you are in for a great experience. The place was very cozy, warming, decorated beautiful, candles lit all over, fireplace, music that you can just close your eyes and go to la la land. It was so nice that my husband even said, “wow.” We had our private restroom and then our one hour couple’s massage began. My husband and I both agree that we had an awesome massage. The ladies were very friendly. After, we had a little snack that included fruit, crackers cheese and our choice of a dr
My husband and I had moved to Austin and were looking for someone who could give me a good haircut for my thin, no body hair and also give my husband a good shave along with a haircut. My husband went to Super Cuts and came back looking like he had his hair done by a Cuisinart. I went to Trent and he worked with the natural waves I had only in one part of my head and gave me a no fuss hair-do that is the best I have ever had. I can travel and not have to haul along blowers, gels, etc. and it looks fabulous. He keeps my color looking natural and hides all my grey in this great style even while it has grown out so I can stretch my hair coloring to every 8 weeks. He truely is terrific. Oh yes, and my husband won’t go to anyone else now. Pros + always on time, professional, friendly, talentedCons – none
