Where is the Best Mover in San Diego, California?
I call Manpower Movers a month ago for my local san diego move. I REALLY wanted to move in the evening, but the sale rep said that the lastest they move is 5pm.. A couple other companies said they would move that late, but I just had a better feeling about hiring Manpower Movers after discussing my move with Mike (move coordinator). The move went very well, and I am happy Im in my new place now. I will definately call them again as my preferred San Diego moving company.Pros + flexible scheduling, no extra charge for weekend movesCons – wont do an evening move past 5pm
I searched long and hard for a moving company to unload the small 12′ rental truck I had driven out to San Diego with my friend when I moved here. All the other places had a 3 hours minimum and this place had a 2 hour minimum so I went with them. The movers in Phoenix where I came from had loaded the contents of my 1 BR apartment in hour in the truck so I really only needed an hour of labor. Unfortunately, Broadway Moving failed to show up at the scheduled time on Sunday morning and after multiples calls and phone messages, they came over an hour later. They said that they couldn’t find the street. As if the neighborhood I live in San Diego hasn’t been on maps since the last 100 years. Their truck was ancient and unmarked. The paperwork they have you sign for insurance purposes has been obviously copied from another company. And the folks they have working were super slow and clearly not trained and I doubt covered properly under workers compensation. It took them the full 2 hours with
I have moved with Discount Movers many times over the years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. What I appreciate the most in thinking about it, is they have been so consistent every time I have hired them. They are consistently fast. They consistently have never broken anything of mine. The movers are consistently good and the prices, well you can’t beat them. Every time I have hired them, I am REALLY pleased with the results. There should be more moving companies like this one.
