Where is the Best Mover in New York, New York?
I want to compliment Marrins’ on their fantastic service. My wife and I bought our first house and were living in a 3-bedroom apartment. We lived up in Orange County, New York and didn’t know how we were going to move all of our belongings, with both of us working full-time jobs and going to school to further our education. Well, from the moment the crew arrived, my wife was relaxed. The crewchief was Nigel. He walked through our apartment, let us know how the day was going to run, and had everything under control. We were given a price of what the move was going to cost, and there were no additional charges at the end of the day. We paid what we were quoted. There were no damages in the move. The crew painstakingly wrapped and protected our most cherished pieces of furniture and artwork. Nothing was lost or mysteriosly disappeared, as you often hear about in moving horror stories. We just used Athletic Movers for the 2nd time, as we would never use another moving company.Our first move was in 2004 and they were amazing, on time, there was nothing broken and the job got done quickly! 5 years later we found a new apartment and our first call was to Athletic Movers to get a date set.These guys are really the best and you cannot go wrong. They are all very friendly, quick, careful and such hard workers. Remarkable Movers moved our 5 room apartment + 2 storage spaces into a new 3 BR apartment. We moved from Brooklyn to Washington Heights (Manhattan). They boxed up and packaged any loose articles that we had not packed, and moved all our stuff in 1 day. They started at 9:30 and finished by 7:30 – so total of 10 hours for the entire job. They only charged 1 hour of travel time in addition to the 10 hours they worked. This was the 2nd time we used Remarkable Movers – they were fast, but safe. They require EVERYTHING to be boxed – which we knew ahead of time – so we boxed 95% of our stuff before they arrived. We were once again very satisfied – 2 items were slightly damaged, but overall, everything else was in the same condition after the move as it was before the move. We had also recommended Remarkable Movers to another family we know, and they were also satisfied with their work.
