Where is the Best Mover in Austin, Texas?

Apache was so highly rated on CitySearch, I felt really comfortable using them, until they actually showed up. They were on time, but became extremely rude once they saw that the job was bigger than they had planned. They had a very large trailer with ample room, but were completely unaccommodating and flat out refused to move some items, and tried to get out of moving as much of the rest as they possibly could. Their only concern was “getting off work early,” and I quote. They moved SO FAST, that I commented on it once, and then made them go slower after they dented and broke a metal filing cabnet. Every single large piece of furniture was banged around and arrived scratched. Then they tried to leave without telling me, and I had to yell at them to come back and put a door back on its hinges. I called the company on the way to Houston and complained. The movers were polite after that, but they were still careless with my belongings. They even slid a painted, wooden trunk on t

I found Blue Ribbon in Citysearch and my move went off without a hitch. They arrived on time, packed up my old place and then headed over to my new place with everything in tow. I had all of the boxes neatly stached near the door but they did disassemble my BIG/HEAVY wrought iron king sized bed, as well as my childrens beds (both queen-sized). I didn’t move anything heavy but in order to save every penny possible I tried to have everything done that I could manage on my own. Nothing was broken, damaged, and everything was accounted for. Upon asking they even hooked up my washer & dryer for me. they asked how I wanted the furnature placed in the new bedrooms and took care of everything for me. I’d never used movers before and after this experience I’ll never move again without them! My only negative is that the price I was quoted was way off from what I paid…I thought the price sounded REALLY good–it took a while to unassemble items, pack, unpack, and reassemble. I don’t thi

I hired M & M to move me from my house to an apartment when I sold my home, knowing I was going to need a mover again 2 and 1/2 months later when my new house was finished. I had to move to a 3rd floor apartment, and M & M did a FABULOUS job with my stuff. Nothing was broken, not even scuffed. They also took the time to make sure everything was in its proper place. They did such a great job I rehired them for my apartment to new house move and also my 10 X 20 storage. They showed up on time, moved the apartment, then came and moved the storage. It took all day of hard work, but they stayed with the job and worked until it was complete (almost until 8 PM!!!). Again, they did a fabulous job and didn’t damage anything, not even the heaviest items. While we were moving the storage building, another company was moving items in and completely destroyed another person’s furniture, which made me really happy with M & M and their care they took. I would completely recommend M & M to ot

I managed to buy a Piano on Ebay, but the seller wanted out of his house in Austin in 48 hours. I phoned Ironman movers on a Sunday Afternoon, and they turned around a delivered he Piano to my home in Houston in less than 36 hours. Very professional – moving pianos is not an easy, everyday job for a mover… normally requires a specialist. They had the skills and the know-how to make it happen. They were also very curtious understanding given we must have phoned him about 10 times in two days.Pros + Fast, Responsive, Available, Good Value, Trustworthy
