• Good mining spots are like Fight Club; the first rule of them is that nobody talks about them. • http://www.thottbot.com has maps that detail where minerals are located in the various zones, if you poke around there on the site long enough • For the serious miner, it is a good idea to print out maps of each zone and keep your own marks on them, so that you have a personal record of where to find different types of ores • As a general rule: • Level 1-10 zones (Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Durotar, etc) have Copper • Level 10-20 zones (Loch Modan, the Barrens) have Copper, small amounts of Tin • Level 20-30ish zones (Wetlands, Duskwood, Redridge, Hillsbrad, Thousand Needles, Ashenvale, Stonetalon, etc) have Copper, Tin, and some Iron • Level 30-40ish zones (Stranglethorn, Arathi Highlands, Alterac, Desolace etc.) have small amounts of Copper and Tin, Iron, some Mithril • Level 40ish 50ish zones (Hinterland, Tanaris Desert) Iron and Mithril, small Thorium veins • Level 50+ Bring on the Th
