Where is the Best Mexican Food in Tucson, Arizona?
First off Horchard who gave the place one star is an IDIOT! Velveta at a restaurant?! No wonder they looked at you like you were practically stupid. Chile con queso is not authentic Mexican food and if you think it is please take yourself back to your obviously midwest or eastern part of our United States, we dont really need your closed minded viewpoints here. The food is great, prices are right, security ( I think it was) in the parking lot is super. The staff is not necessiarly nice but that is much better than fake and phoney, and you dont go lacking for anything. Pros + food is soo good, served relatively fastCons – yes you do have to wait. If you like your service to be coddled, not the best place
Went recently with a group of seven. Called ahead to put my name on their list, and the hostesses lost the list. Had to wait an extra 40 minutes. Once seated, service was slow and the restaurant was very chilly. Asked multiple times to turn down a/c, but was treated rudely by the manager and nothing changed. Waited another 45 minutes for our meals, which were mediocre at best. Don’t waste your time here.Pros + good parkingCons – service, service, service
We went to La Parilla Suiza about a year ago and had a wonderful meal and enjoyed live entertainment provided by a mariachi group. We have returned several times hoping to see them again but despite a large banner out front that says the mariachi perform Friday and Saturday from 6:30 to 8:30, they are never there. That is deceptive advertising.Pros + Good food, large parking lotCons – Prices reflect entertainment that doesn’t happen
